Sex with my new SO is the best ever, and it's very important. As I have now realised after 29yrs of bad sex.

It’s among the best and it’s very important to me. I have lots of really good friends: I don’t want just friendship from my partner so I place a lot of importance on sex.

If neither of you think sex is particularly important generally then a relationship can probably survive if it isn’t very good. But it also depends why it isn’t good - if it’s not good because he isn’t interested in what you like or because you don’t communicate very well then that’s a wider relationship problem.

it is partly because there are no secrets between us we can talk to each other tell each other what we want or need.
also we feel comfortable with each other not a one night stand etc when you dont know a person you kind of grow into each other

Yes, it really is. Even though at the moment we are having a few small issues in the bedroom, how we are open and communicate and understand and over come them solidifies that even more.
