I remember when I first started talking to my now husband, I had not long been dumped by long term partner and wasn’t sure whether to wait for ex to maybe reconsider (so young and naive!) husband sent me that song by beautiful south about “need a little time” and said take all the time I need to recover from that relationship and if I wanted to date him he’d be waiting patiently. That song was so helpful in making me realise I shouldn’t just sit around waiting for ex, few months later I started dating now husband and haven’t looked back once! It’s a great song for a dumpee to feel like they have taken back control and aren’t bei NG walked over :)

Loving some of these suggestions, I’ve made my own playlist for this a while back, I’ve got quite a few of these on there.

I play Unstoppable by Sia on repeat at times also Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood and I also love listening to Try Everything by Shakira when I’m feeling down.
