17 Yo Sex

I'd like to know peoples opinions on teens having sex under their roof. My son is 17 and so is his GF. Im not comfortable with the the idea of them sleeping together, but both will be 18 soon.

Perhaps I am just getting old. I do remember being that age and wanting to do exactly the same.

At 17 I wont allow it under my roof. At 18 I still aren't comfortable with it but they are adults.

I seriously don't understand your objection. I totally totally don't get it. They are able to have sex after the age of 16. A year ago! and if it's a girlfriend and boyfriend, stable, serious, and been going out with each other for awhile, why would you want to stop this - why would you want them having sex on a bench or somewhere horrible outside?

I simply cannot understand your point of view.

It's definitely better to allow them to have a safe place to do it.

I think especially for the girl I would rather she was comfortable and not having to have sex in a car or outside somewhere!!

I also don't like the thought of teens having to schedule a time for sex, as in "I have a free house at 6pm on Friday for 2 hours so come over then".....because maybe the girl won't want to have sex at that particular time and will then feel pressure to do it because it's the only free time they have.
