I've just had an email saying...

MascaraOHara · 08/08/2007 15:59

that they know something about my xp but they're not sure I'm going to want to know..

I've told them I want to know and am now sat here with stomach in knots waiting for a response. Think it was very cruel of them.

I expect that the news will be that he has got back with his ex and I know we've split but it's still gonna hurt like I don't know what when I get the confirmation. We only split mid July and I'm now wondering if there was something going on.. it was only a few weeks ago he was telling me I was the only person he'd ever loved etc

feel sick.

and pissed off with person who emailed me the way they did and for not replying. Will also mean friends know and nobody has told me...

i'm wondering if it is just a reaction to boost his own ego after splitting?

zippitippitoes · 09/08/2007 16:44

well he was 31 then and he is 39 now..I'm flummoxed tbh..he's not materialisitc that's for sure, I would have married him and then i would have been a loser big time...I've made a mental note to marry no one unless they are considerably richer than me

zippitippitoes · 09/08/2007 16:46

not that that is too difficult

Girly · 09/08/2007 16:56

You had better make up a sudden migraine at work and get home fast to sort yourself out then.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 09/08/2007 17:07

oh MOH!!! So excited about your date

You need to de-fluff everywhere, because, well....you never know

lou33 · 09/08/2007 17:11

ooh i just saw you have a date!

how lovely i hope it goes really well

Girly · 09/08/2007 17:20

Bet MOH is legging it home to prepare for the date!

MascaraOHara · 09/08/2007 20:32

OK am home after very bizarre day/week. Feeling a bit emotional but also v. excited.. went shopping but couldn't really find anything for tomorrow night so going to play it safe with black dress.. did however pick up a lovely white Tommy Hilfiger dress reduced from ~£200 to ~£50 which I shall take on holiday.

Zippi, it all sounds so bizarre.. can imagine it must hurt a lot as he hasn't really given you a solid reason has he. I think you had lucky escape not marrying!

Happy Birthday!

MascaraOHara · 10/08/2007 12:00

Ahh thanks!!

How are you today? and Dior, how's things for you?

I tried on a few things last night.. Have decided to go for knee length black dress but dressed down with big slouchy white bag and chunky b&W jewellery and b&w killer heels

Oh and did I mention that I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about what to wear to works do and a bloke there I might quite like to impress well... the bloke I'm going out with tonight is that bloke

OP posts:
MascaraOHara · 10/08/2007 13:12

so everybody I mention it too knows about xp and this girl and not one of my f&*!ing so called friends has bothered to tell me, only this bloke. I didn't mind the first few "oh yeah I know mates, I thought about telling you but yada yada yada" but know I'm seriously starting to think right, that's it they've all got their stake in the ground.

...hello... how are you?

First time I've had a chance to get back on!!

all I can say is Oh. My. God...

Went to the most fantastic but very posh hotel/restaurant about an hour away from where I live.

Had a wonderful wonderful time but feel completely spoilt. Had a wonderful meal and retired to the llounge with the waiter carrying my wine bucket through lol the conversation flowed freely and we had a real giggle.

He booked a room so I could get ready there and didn't have to rush.. stayed over (but nothing physical happened, besides a lovely lovely kiss at the end of the night)

and he bought me a present as well. a few weeks ago I had moaned (in a genearl conbversation abot my ipod not been big enough) so he had bought me a new one.

Like I said it was so completely lovely. I hopnestly can not believe he went to sooo mcuh trouble. was compltely fanctastic. x

but at the same time that he went to so so much trouble, I mean I honestly can't imagine that cost, never mind the fact that he chose somewhere so lovely and picked me up and just did everything really.

MascaraOHara · 12/08/2007 21:01
