We put the baby to bed, DH got a nice meal in. Lit a candle, had a laugh. So far so good. But then the football went on...and he is now snoring on the other sofa! Think I might just go to bed myself. Hmm Anyone else?

Been for a run with my running club. Came home to kids fighting. Heated myself leftovers from the other night. Came to bed!

Happy Thursday!

curlyrebel · 14/02/2019 22:03

Aw @Notcoolmum but I like that you went for a run!

SweetPeaPods · 14/02/2019 22:04

DH is at work! I’m going to bed shortly

azulmariposa · 14/02/2019 22:07

Boyfriend is working in the US, so I'm catching up on the new series of Velvet Coleccion on Netflix!

barryfromclareisfit · 14/02/2019 22:11

Fabulous. I’m alone, in the dark, enjoying a few minutes peace. I’m babysitting. Baby, seven years, is asleep. Parents not due back yet. All is well.

MsMustDoBetter · 14/02/2019 22:13

M&S valentines dinner, a teeny bit of bickering and now I'm in bed to settle down with a book.

notacooldad · 14/02/2019 22:15

Pretty good, I was supposed to be working until 23.00hrs but got away at 21.00hrs. I was home by 21.10hrs and now just chilling!

littleoralot · 14/02/2019 22:16

Absolutely lovely. I cooked a 3 course meal. Dd was down by 8. I got a hugeeeee bunch of flowers and a really meaningful card. We're now snuggled up on the sofa in our dressing gowns eating homemade Oreo cheesecake binge watching Netflix 😁

Walk
Pub
Nice meal
Too much Fizz
Sad Memories though

MadeForThis · 14/02/2019 22:23

Great. Dc asleep relatively early. 2 massive steaks. Glass or two of wine.

Not a big follower of Valentine's Day. But it's nice to reconnect. Feeling the love tonight.

Skinandbones · 14/02/2019 22:23

Had no hot water for 2 days, the plumber comes, gets it going and sods off, 10 mins later its running cold. Dh back went last night, he can barley get out of bed and no hot water for a soak. Dd has a migraine, probably she says because she hasn't washed her hair. And the top of the salt came off all over my takeaway.
So just a usual valentines days really.
Hope you all had lots of good things.

DerelictWreck · 14/02/2019 22:29

Absolutely wonderful.

I live alone so I ate what I wanted, watched what I wanted, and didn't have to make sure anyone else was happy. Wins all round!

Sparrowlegs248 · 14/02/2019 22:32

Fabulous. Drinking coffee with a piece of very dark chocolate. Children in bed. Thankful that I'm not going through the same shit I was 2 yrs ago , on Valentine's day, which spelt the end of my marriage

sarahjaneg · 14/02/2019 22:33

Husbands birthday today but he's on nights... I did a "croissant cake" with the kids for breakfast. Normal madness of running around... literally just sat down...
Watching crappy tv and having a beer!

FionaFries · 14/02/2019 22:34

In bed drinking tea Brew

ToEarlyForDecorations · 14/02/2019 22:36

Long lie in, both of us
He bought me a cup of tea in bed
We exchanged Valentine cards
I gave him a bottle of champagne
We had breakfast
The bouquet of one dozen red roses from him to me was delivered mid morning
We did Couch to 5km together
Showered then went shopping
Had lunch in town
Came home and had an, ahem, rest
Got ready to go out and had a brilliant meal in a floating restaurant
Came home in a taxi because we had wine with dinner
He's now in the kitchen making me a cup of tea whilst we watch First Dates.

Newtonthehorizon · 14/02/2019 22:36

At home drinking wine that I bought alone watching crap telly. He is out with the lads cos it's 'pool night ' . Oh and we haven't had sex for ever 🙄

Crockof · 14/02/2019 22:36

Kids asleep in bed, husband asleep on sofa, watching crap on TV and on MN, dog by my feet in warm house, not exciting or romantic or valentiney but feeling grateful

jinglewithbellson · 14/02/2019 22:38

Managed to get out of work at 7.30pm and got home to a nice meal for two already in the oven flowers chocolates and a card Smile

Dh went to bed not long after we ate due to being on the very early shift this week so just been sat in my comfy pjs and dressing gown catching up with some tv I've missed.

If I go to bed too early after a long shift I lay awake for ages head buzzing so need abit more winding down before I head up I think

deadliftgirl · 14/02/2019 22:38

You are all so lucky, my husband is taking me out tomorrow as he is still at work!

I am just so thankful to have a husband who loves me and would anything for me. Thats all you really need on valentines day and the other 364 days of the year!

funnyoldonion · 14/02/2019 22:38

Tonsillitis and pasta puttenessa (sp) aka 'whore's pasta' for me and a new paperback

33goingon64 · 14/02/2019 22:41

Watching Dirty Dancing on my own, waiting for DH to get back from work. Must put my tongue back in before he gets back.

PristineCondition · 14/02/2019 22:44

Sat awkwardly on each side of the sofa watching first dates.
We’ve had a bastard of a row. I will make up with him but I really like first dates and I usually wouldn’t get to watch it so I’m letting him squirm till it finishes

18 years in people. Grin

IHeartKingThistle · 14/02/2019 22:47

I've got a horror of a cold. I got breakfast in bed this morning and some flowers. Dominos pizza with the kids. Went out to see a comedian this evening as have had the tickets for ages but I'm now in bed with a cup of tea and he's downstairs watching TV I don't like and not even sulking a tiny bit that I'm not putting out due to the snot. I'm not even being sarcastic. He's a keeper.
