..or breast augmentation if you're picky lol .. just wondering what you thought of it? Seriously considering having one done.

In dying for one, waiting until after kids though. 3 of my friends have had them and they're fantastic!!! They look incredible!

NicksWife08 · 12/02/2019 22:30

I haven't, but my mum did. She has an incredibly high pain threshold and is really quite tough but the surgery floored her, having the drains taken out was upsetting to watch, she was in so much pain. And from memory her recovery seemed to take a while.
She had it done at a very nice hospital and the implants were put under the muscle so they looked more natural (may have made it more painful). Her breasts look great and the scarring faded quickly.
However despite that after watching her go through the recovery I decided I'd never have mine done.

DeathBySnuSnu · 12/02/2019 22:31

Yes, I love the results! I also know about six other ladies who have had it done and are happy. Big bobs rule! Grin

Canthearthroughmyglasses · 12/02/2019 22:31

I would love to have mine done too

DeathBySnuSnu · 12/02/2019 22:33

My op didn't hurt at all but I had over muscle, no drains. Up and about same day no probs.

HelloItsMe · 12/02/2019 22:37

Thanks ladies, was it in the UK you had your procedures and how much did they cost approximately? I'm obsessed with looking at before and afters online and it has made me even more keen

Yes - definitely one of the best things I have done! Grin

ralphfromlordoftheflies · 12/02/2019 22:43

Best money I have ever spent. It wasn't that painful, and I was back in work 3 days later!

ralphfromlordoftheflies · 12/02/2019 22:44

Sorry, yes I had it done in the UK and it was about 4k. You can get interest free finance.

pinkyredrose · 12/02/2019 22:45

Why's this is relationships?

Offside · 12/02/2019 22:46

I’m getting mine done in a few weeks and I can’t wait. I’ve wanted them done for at least 16 years and after deciding we don’t want any more kids, it’s my treat from myself and DH. It’s costing around £6.5 but I was quoted more and less by other surgeons. I decided not to go through one of the companies for personal reasons so I’m going private.

If you have the finances to do it, I’d definitely say go for it. I have quite a few friends who have had theirs done and also a few cousins, all of whom said it was the best money they had spent.

Seline · 12/02/2019 22:47

I want it doing. Anyone who's had them done do they still feel normal?

PrismGuile · 12/02/2019 22:50

My friend had one aged 15. She didn't realise she would need another at 25 and is scrambling to get the money together in 2 years....they looked nice though. Just remember one boob job is not forever.

HelloItsMe · 12/02/2019 22:54

@Seline that was going to be my next question too, my fiance wondered would they feel hard to touch and does your partner's enjoy them? lol.

It's in relationships because I didn't know where else to ask it when I was looking at topics and this section tends to have the most responders and is also the section I read myself .

OP posts:
Offside · 12/02/2019 22:57

@Prism that’s not necessarily true with today’s implants, a surgeon will now tell you it is down to your preference whether you get them changed or not - there is no medical reason to do so. One of my friends has had hers in for 12 years, had two kids and isn’t planning on having hers changed as there’s nothing wrong with them.

Seline · 12/02/2019 22:58

@Hello that's what my husband thinks too. I don't care either way but he's worried they'll feel funny lol.

Offside · 12/02/2019 22:58

Also wondering what reputable surgeon would carry out a BA on a 15 year old?! 🤔

hazandduck · 12/02/2019 22:59

I want one too! I finished breastfeeding about 6 weeks ago and I miss my previously pert, perky, amazing boobs that I always took for granted. Looking back I really was naturally blessed even though I never properly appreciated my breasts before and now they feel like droopy old teabags lol.

MenstruatorExtraordinaire · 12/02/2019 23:02

Do you not worry about all these horror stories you hear about leakage? Also I don't want to be horrible but I think they look really weird because you see women with them and they just look so unnatural. Obviously I'm only noticing I guess the unnatural looking ones but if you've got a very slim woman with large rock like boobs they just look really odd.

Rtmhwales · 12/02/2019 23:05

Had mine done three and a half years ago. I got the gummibear ones, under muscle. Recovery hurt quite a bit but not catastrophic. Love them still, really changed my body confidence.

Rtmhwales · 12/02/2019 23:06

My XH couldn't even tell they're fake. They take a while to probably settle down completely and soften up, but they feel natural to me and people who've had a good squeeze.

Jaffacakebeast · 12/02/2019 23:11

I want 1, have done for years and years. But I’m too scared. Scared the op will go wrong, the boobs will go wrong, scared I’ll get cancer and I won’t know b’cos of the fake boobs, and now I’m even scared I’ll get the fake boob sickness :/ not sure what it’s actually called, but apparently loads of ppl get it b’cos of the toxins and are generally really unwell until the implants are removed. I really wish I had them done when I was younger. When I was less scared

Rtmhwales · 12/02/2019 23:11

@MenstruatorExtraordinaire

Mine are the newer Gummi Bear ones. They show you in the doctor's office what they look like. You could literally cut them in half with no leakage because the inner consistency is like that of gummibears (hence the name). It took friends and family ages to notice mine were fake (and only in a bikini) so I don't think they look that unnatural and I went up to a 32DD from a 32B.

Seline · 12/02/2019 23:17

Obviously I'm only noticing I guess the unnatural looking ones but if you've got a very slim woman with large rock like boobs they just look really odd.

Depends on the woman. I'm naturally slim with natural 30GG breasts. My breasts don't look like porn boobs they look medium large but proportionate. However since I've had kids I don't think they look as good naked. I just want them back to the way they were so I don't think that would look ridiculous.

HelloItsMe · 12/02/2019 23:20

Yeah well ..I did read alot of horror stories also but there is horror stories about almost everything in life.. Can't live in fear, so it doesn't really put me off.
Yeah I was looking up those gummies aswell , they sound good 😲.
