Tinder arsehole

Wasn't sure where to put this but just wanted to tell someone, but can't tell anyone in real life as it's embarrassing.

Was chatting to a guy on Tinder, seemed nice enough, swapped numbers, all the usual. Texting last night just chit chat, he asked to talk on the phone, I said I was too tired, he said cool chat tomorrow.

This morning he's messaged me:

'Black man's meat' with a steak emoji and waving emoji.

Wtf? I have two mixed raced children from a previous relationship so maybe he saw that somewhere, although they don't look typically mixed really. Plus there aren't pics with me and my ex online. I'm disgusted tbh.

What the actual fuck? Is there some kind of report system on Tinder to get him chucked off? (I don’t know anything about Tinder, sorry)

How appallingly offensive and cruel of him.

gonnabreakmyrustycage · 02/08/2018 15:29

Well he is disgusting, count yourself lucky you didn’t waste any more time with him. Not sure if you can report people on tinder but so if you can.

BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 15:30

I did report him and blocked him on everything. I actually feel really upset and keep thinking about it.

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 15:31

It’s a truly despicable thing to say, racist and misogynistic and just absolutely disgusting.

People tend to hide behind being online as a way to say the most terrible things.

He’s awful.

BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 15:33

Thank you. It feels better to hear other people validate it. He blocked me right after so I couldn't respond. Coward

OP posts:
BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 15:34

I'm actually wondering how he found out, Not that I'm ashamed at All, just curious really. Creepy

witchofzog · 02/08/2018 15:34

What sort of a wanker does this? Lucky escape op

Babdoc · 02/08/2018 15:37

Gosh, you dodged a bullet there - imagine if you’d actually gone on a date with this piece of shit!
Is Tinder actually not just a shagging site for one night stands? I thought it was the straight people’s equivalent of Grinder? There must be some more civilised dating sites where you might meet a nicer type of chap? Afraid I have no useful knowledge for a recommendation, being in my 60’s and never having used dating websites!

BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 15:37

Forgot to say, he was white, but guess that was obvious.

Also it said he was within a mile from me so now I'm worried I'm going to bump into him around my neighbourhood

OP posts:
gonnabreakmyrustycage · 02/08/2018 15:38

He obviously stalked you, looked up your Facebook or Instagram using your number. What a creep. I feel for whoever he chats up next. You should feel relieved, imagine going out on dates with this arsehole and only finding out who he truly is after meeting him!

Worlds0kayestmum · 02/08/2018 15:39

Do you have your kids in your WhatsApp profile picture? He may have seen through that? Or your mobile linked to your FB? I think you can search with a mobile number and your profile comes up.

Horrible excuse for a human. Lucky escape Flowers

Melliegrantfirstlady · 02/08/2018 15:40

That is dreadful! Is it not racist? I’d report him! Contact his employer too

Worieddd · 02/08/2018 15:42

Sorry you went through this

What does black mans meat mean? I don’t understand it

Sorry if I’m being understand I’m obviously missing something here

LockedOutOfMN · 02/08/2018 15:44

That's despicable. Well done for reporting him.

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 15:44

What does black mans meat mean? I don’t understand it

It’s an extremely racist comment that she must have been with a black man to have mixed race children.

I’m actually really sad that attitudes like this exist at all, and fucking furious too.

BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 15:49

Do you have your kids in your WhatsApp profile picture? He may have seen through that

Yes I do, of my and my daughter. But last night he commented 'what a lovely pic cute kid' which is why I was so confused to receive that message this morning.

What does black mans meat mean? I don’t understand it

What Ye said Angry Sad

He was looking for phone sex and reacted in a hideous way when you said you were too tired I think OP. Fucking horrible disgusting prick.

How dare a woman turn him down? I bet that was his thinking. Some poor woman is going to get lumbered with him. Thank fuck it’s not you! (Not making any excuses for his awful comment at all btw)

Ryder63 · 02/08/2018 15:53

@Babdoc no, Tinder isn't just for one night stands. One of my DDs met some lovely guys on there, and had quite a long relationship with one of them.

Ryder63 · 02/08/2018 15:58

OP I would change your WhatsApp pic to just one of you. It's known that paedophiles target lone parents on dating sites.

eightfacesofthemoon · 02/08/2018 16:38

Christ that’s shocking
I agree. Don’t put up a personal photo on your WhatsApp
Personally I wouldn’t even start using your own personal numbers etc till you’re sure about them.
You can get a surprising amount of info out of them

StrawberryLaces0 · 02/08/2018 16:51

Good break away from that OP!! People can't be vile and disgusting. I had a date once with a similar guy who turned out to have very racist views questioning if I'd ever been with a black or Chinese guy...as simply having slept with another nationality was a no 😂

BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 17:25

I will have whatever pic I want really. I can weed out creeps pretty easily. I don't advertise I've got kids on tinder at all. Plus they won't even meet my kids or come to my house for ages after dating

OP posts:
BlackMirror · 02/08/2018 17:28

Plus all my contacts are family and friends. But I will take off my daughter

OP posts:
Storm4star · 02/08/2018 17:31

Unfortunately online dating seems to make people think they can say things that they couldn't say to your face in real life. I turned down a second date with one guy once who then sent me a long message detailing all my physical flaws in a really nasty exaggerated way. The only thing you can do now is see it as a lucky escape. He just wanted to be as offensive as possible, so what does that say about him as a person?

Racecardriver · 02/08/2018 17:37

When I read the title I though you were sent a picture or an actual arse hole.
