If you could go back and do it all again, would you still get married?

Did your wedding go how you hoped it would?

No, with hindsight, I would have not bothered getting back with h when we split up in the first year of being together.

Yes and yes! We celebrated our anniversary on Sunday....7 years!

DH said he would marry me again too!

phew!!

bobsmum · 08/05/2007 17:04

Married nearly 8 years - all fab and wonderful - but then I am a surrendered wife

Love the wedding - but somehow in a loved up fog was persuaded to let my parents choose the ceilidh band. There was no caller and 50% of the guest were English, so that was a bit of a tumbleweed moment.

Otherwise the day was absolutely perfect!!

Managed to set of the hotel fire alarm and evacuate 16 floors of a very busy city centre hotel. Met Jimmy Saville by the wheelie bins though

God yes, but I would wait until I wasn't seven months pregnant so I could wear a pretty dress and drink lots.

Milliways · 08/05/2007 17:08

Yes
And that was almost 21 years ago!

PeachyChocolateEClair · 08/05/2007 17:20

Yes

We had a lovely wedding but I'd probably change a few things in hindsight (we ahd wanted to elope, but MIl- who no longer talks to us anyhow- put a stop to that)

Only thing bad about the whole day was that i can't do it again LOL!

Yep. I enjoyed my wedding. The wedding wasn't the focus, though. Having kids was. SO that stopped teh wedding being too big a deal which was a good thing.
