Blimey! How did that happen!

Seems lots of you are rather ruddy marvellous and want to keep going on this journey with me so I'm opening a new chapter.

Argh! Every time someone posts I get all excited!

I have visions of us all pacing up and down chewing our nails. Hope that Lolli is having a blissful deep sleep after an exhausting night.

I haven’t had a moment to check in today but hoping all is well. I know inductions can take time but you’re in my thoughts.

It’s been a very intense few hours, but I am pleased to say baby Lollipop arrived safe and sound at 3.10am weighing 9lbs exactly.
He’s utterly perfect and delicious but labour was brutally quick. An hour and a half and I went from 5 -10 cms in five minutes and then bang there he was.
Needed some stitches but didn’t lose much blood, just totally exhausted and worn out.
It was a very emotional time for me and I sobbed broken-heartedly at points. But my wonderful friend was amazing and the midwives were too.

I’m so proud of him. He’s feeding beautifully and settling himself well even this soon.
His big brother and sister adore him. We’re all back home together.

Thanks so much for all your messages of support, it’s kept me going through some lonely and dark times. I know there’s more to come but I have a renewed sense of purpose and accomplishment.
