Men in dungarees

Was out with my boyfriend the other weekend and we went into a vintage shop in Shoreditch.
He tried on ended up buying a pair of dungarees
I was kinda surprised but he said he'd always wanted to get some so didn't think much of it.
He wore them today for the first time when we went into town and I was kinda shocked how much I dug it.
He looked so scrummy in them!
Dunno what it was but something about the straps, the bib flap and buckles that made me all hot and flustered.
Phew!

Anyone else experienced this, or am I going crazy?

I will refrain from commenting on men who do not work in the dust bowl circa 1935 wearing dungarees and instead add some helpful historical background.

Mercy silently whispered a prayer of gratitude to her Heavenly Father Almighty: Gideon had seen fit to cover those denim monstrosities with a jacket...

Shoreditch, you say. Explains it all.

Up here in the wilds of the north a man wearing dungarees would stop traffic. (Painters/decorators aside).

I loved the Waltons and Grandpa.

Is this sexy lol

Dungarees.

Just say 'no'.

Ttbb · 05/11/2017 09:16

Not a fan. I prefer my men in suits.

StorminaBcup · 05/11/2017 09:19

I just googled dungarees (although I mis-typed and spelled ‘fungarees’ Grin, do we think it’ll catch on?), and all I can think about is how they go to the toilet. They’d have to hold their dungarees front and back, sort the underwear, aim.....it’s just too much to contemplate. A bit like wearing a body in the 90’s and by your 3rd snakebite you give up with the poppers Grin

seven201 · 05/11/2017 10:03

Do they have a fly or does he have to include them etc to have a wee? I don’t find them attractive on men at all.

TheVanguardSix · 05/11/2017 10:07

You could have a right proper fantasy with this one, OP.

I love denim dungarees and had compliments even though s
Not everyone likes them,I just love that whole 90s vibe and dungarees are so comfy. I love women in denim dungarees they just suite them and look sexy and cute. Where as guys it's almost harder any styling tips.
