NCd else might be outing:
I left my estranged husband at the beginning of this year after discovering a variety of his dirty secrets....cheating/prostitutes / drug taking.

Fast forward 6 months and I'm away with family and my children and I've met someone who I've really clicked with and who seems to find me attravtive too. The thing is he's 25 and I'm early 30s...is he too young?!?!

Nah its fine. I guess potentially only long term issue might be children of yoive had them / don't want more but that's a way away. Enjoy

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:30

I think so too!!! But feel nervous and slightly cringey that I'm 7/8 years older.

7/8 years is nothing.

Enjoy.

daisymai08 · 21/08/2017 22:31

One of my best mates has a 10 year age difference she's now 40 he's 30 they've been together for years and the most in love couple I know xx

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 21/08/2017 22:31

Not too young at all.

EmmaC78 · 21/08/2017 22:32

Totally fine. Go for it ☺

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:32

True re kids etc. He knew i had them from the offset. It's unlikely to be more than a fling but just wondering if he'll think I'm "too old"!

No 7 /8 years isn't too much at all x

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:38

Im trying to....he now knows my age as it was printed.on paper work of sport he was teaching me. He thought I was younger (flattered obviously!).

We're messaging but I'm conscious not to sound too old or 'mum' like! Feel like a teenager Grin

My DH is 7 years older than me. He has dodge taste in music (42 to my 35) but otherwise my difference.

Fluffypinkpyjamas · 21/08/2017 22:42

No' of course he's not too young for you. Enjoy! Sounds like you deserve it! Flowers

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:45

So relieved at the resounding "go for it" response! Thanks girls. I haven't laughed so much in years as I have this week with him. (Mainly at myself for being shit at what he's been teaching me!)

OP posts:
scrabbler3 · 21/08/2017 22:45

That age gap is irrelevant. It's not much of a gap at all.

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:47

I just feel quite hwavy on the life experience with my failed marraige and kids in tow compared to his relative youthful freedom!

OP posts:
ChopinLisztFinder · 21/08/2017 22:49

It's about the same age gap as my husband and I, so you can probably guess my opinion on the matter.

I hope you have a lovely time!

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 22:51

I intend to Grin

I wouldn't have believed I could feel like this 6 months ago!

SandyY2K · 21/08/2017 22:54

Enjoy it, but don't get overly invested. You deserve some fun.

Costaricachica · 21/08/2017 23:00

I'll certainly try!
