Would it bother you if your DH wanted to use a sex toy on himself?

I know there is a sex topic but I haven't been here long enough unfortunately Blush I have been here a couple of months, but have name changed for this.

Just what the title says really. He has asked if we "give it a try" I was a bit surprised and don't really know what to say! Would it bother you?

There's nothing wrong with it & its mind blowing for a male. Why not get amongst it?

No wouldn't bother me.
Marriages are long, nice to get the pleasure you want!

LadyLoveYourWhat · 06/04/2017 00:49

Wish my ex had bought himself a nice sex toy instead of using my rolling pin. It was all OK though because he did put a condom on it Hmm

PushingThru · 06/04/2017 03:05

It's ok for you not to want to incorporate this into sex between you if you don't like it. Perhaps suggest he uses it in masturbation alone if he wants.

Lady ShockShockShock

Adora10 · 06/04/2017 10:23

I wouldn't be interested in using it as part of our sex life no so yes I'd be a bit uncomfortable about it tbh.

PinkHeart59156816 · 06/04/2017 10:29

No it wouldn't bother me, it's nothing me and dh haven't done already!

You of course don't have to do anything in the bedroom you are not comfortable with. You could try it once see what you think? You don't know unless you try. Or tell him it's not a problem for him to use it alone?

Renaissance2017 · 06/04/2017 10:36

Before it goes in yell 'BRACE YOURSELF, WE'RE GOING IN'.

RickJames · 06/04/2017 10:44

It's his bum - why not? It's nice that he feels able to ask for what he wants.

SleepFreeZone · 06/04/2017 10:56

I'm imagining one of those great big old fashioned rolling pins and whincing. How the hell did you find out he was using it? 🤔

LivingForHim · 06/04/2017 11:01

I would have your concerns too OP.

If my DH wanted to stick anything, even a penis in that hole then it would be straight up divorce. Imo, nothing should go up there. It's just wrong.

Maybe he's in the closet and is just testing waters.

shineon · 06/04/2017 11:39

I feel like a bit of a prude now after reading the responses but yes it would bother me. If be worried maybe he was in the closet! Is that silly? I really didn't think hetro guys were interested in dildos up their bum. Am I clueless?

Renaissance2017 · 06/04/2017 11:52

Livingforhim and Shineon

If he wanted to stick a penis up his bum, assuming you don't have one, that would mean being unfaithful. However wanting to use a sex toy up his bum doesn't mean a man is gay no more than a woman changing the oil on car makes her a lesbian.

Were you born in the 1920's per chance?

shineon · 06/04/2017 11:59

Bit of a difference there Renaissance!

Renaissance2017 · 06/04/2017 12:03

I know. I was struggling for comparisons!! And I'm still trying to think of a better one!!

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 06/04/2017 12:16

It's like saying a woman using a different shaped penis style dildo wants another man isn't it?

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 06/04/2017 12:19

Most of the male aimed toys on websites like lovehoney are marketed towards straight men.

I'd imagine gay men use sites like Prowler etc for their purchases.

There are a lot of Male oriented toys on "straight" sites. Ergo, there must be quite a few straight men using them.

LadyLoveYourWhat · 06/04/2017 14:36

He told me! (Re rolling pin) But some time afterwards. Coincidentally (?) his mum bought me a really lovely new one for Christmas one year. I'm surprised he didn't do himself an injury with the various things he stuck up his bum, there was one thing he told me he used to do when living at home that I think could have actually killed him if it had gone wrong.

VladmirsPoutine · 06/04/2017 15:33

Lady WTF was he doing? I've laughed hilariously at your comment.

SleepFreeZone · 06/04/2017 15:45

Bloody hell!

LadyLoveYourWhat · 06/04/2017 18:43

Don't try this at home Vladimir, but he used to turn one of their kitchen stools upside down and lower himself on to one of the (thinnish metal) legs. Luckily his poor parents never came home to find him impaled. The folly of youth.

PoorYorick · 06/04/2017 18:44

Oh God, Lady! Please tell me he at least told you before you used it to make shortbread...

LadyLoveYourWhat · 06/04/2017 18:51

I wasn't much of a baker in those days, I don't think I used it very often. Fortunately. Maybe he still has it, I definitely didn't take it when I moved out Grin

PoorYorick · 06/04/2017 18:53

I'd probably have used it to hit him over the head once I found out!

I don't have an issue with people enjoying that kind of stimulation and I'm kind of gobsmacked that there are those out there who would divorce their partners over it. But one thing I am very adamant about is that you should always use something that was actually designed for the purpose. Safety first, kids.
