there's a lot of men just lurking, not brave enough to join in

discovered at the weekend my dp is one of them

I think it's great that dads, grannys, etc post, but totally understand OP'S question. My husband would never post on here, just not interested. He accepts I like it for advice etc but when I mention some of the threads and the cliqueyness (sp), the way some posters get slighty agressive on subjects that are not that important etc etc. He shakes head and comments that it's "gossipy, bitchy women like the bloody playground". He wouldn't go to our local toddler group for same reason (did once and thought it was awful,)
Had to laugh at suggestions poster is oldie due to using abbrivations, anyone who texts regulary uses these, other forum boards use them and it's part of modern life. Hence why this generation can't spell.
Anon I think MN great. I've had great advice so hope you still use it regardless of you being new, old or whatever.

I actually joined MN after following a CBeebies link. MN has given me so much advice and help, while I was a SAHD and since.

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 13:10

are you going to admit you were on cbeebies playing the games HD?

HappyDaddy · 27/02/2007 13:13

Why else would I be on there? LOL

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 13:15

just a damn nuisance when the toddler wants to join in
