Potential date referring to two people on First Dates as 'bummers'

Convo with this guy on POF. Gone well so far. Just discussing our mutual enjoyment of First Dates and he says do I remember the episode when the 'two bummers ate the snail shells'.

So I said 'who did what?'.

He then changed it to 'the gay couple'.

That's strike 1 for him.

That's what I thought. Convo progressed (I've got nothing else on) and he's just said if he was at the first dates hotel he'd have to throw his date in the pool.

!!!

If he did that to me I'd rip his head off.

Not that he's going to get the chance...

He seems to think the only reason you wouldn't want to be thrown in a swimming pool by your date would be because you can't swim...

He appears to have gone off in a huff. Maybe he's got a thing for throwing women into water I don't know. I hate all that sort of stuff - I'm not a teenager, I'm a 50 year old woman.

I hate people who say one thing then are to scared to own it and try and pull it back and downplay what they said.
