Call the police.

Heirhelp · 22/12/2016 18:32

Ring 999

Heirhelp · 22/12/2016 18:33

For now take your daughter and keys to a neighbours house.

FauxFox · 22/12/2016 18:34

Can you leave with your DCs?

MinesAGin · 22/12/2016 18:36

Get your daughter out of the house now so that she's safe.

Make sure she is okay and if not get medical attention. Call 999 and report straight away.

blueskyinmarch · 22/12/2016 18:40

You need to call the police asap as long as you can do so safely. Or text someone to call them for you.

PipersPiping · 22/12/2016 18:40

If he wont then you need to, you have to keep her safe.

ScarletOverkill · 22/12/2016 18:42

Do you have somewhere safe you can go to? Flowers

ineedamoreadultieradult · 22/12/2016 18:43

Leave the house and call the police. Do you have friends or family near by?

wishparry · 22/12/2016 18:44

Yes please call the police if your dh won't leave!

AP168 · 22/12/2016 18:50

unlessyousay · 22/12/2016 18:51

Poor you. Are you able to say a bit more about what happened ?

Flowers
ineedamoreadultieradult · 22/12/2016 18:52

Are you on holiday in your home country? If you have a car you could drive home or to a b&b. Call the police if you can they can help you get to a safe place if you can't sort it yourself.

Leave the house, with keys, daughter and phone. Call.police - are you on holiday in this country?

Is daughter ok?

JayJayBird · 22/12/2016 19:01

Though I don't condone any violence, the responses above surprise me, we've no idea if op means a small smack on the hand to a full punch, or how old child is etc. I hope you're ok op, a bit more detail may help people respond appropriately

Lorelei76 · 22/12/2016 19:02

If you're away from friends even mire reason to call police.

Montane50 · 22/12/2016 19:03

How hard?
Why?
Where are you both this minute (in the same room/apartment)?
Why are you posting here and not leaving? (Is he stopping you)?

Leave and speak to the reception, they will help you.

Kirriemuir · 22/12/2016 19:10

In what way? Context etc?

LovingLola · 22/12/2016 19:10

Do you mean a slap on the leg or a punch in the face? Physical parental chastisement of children (including slapping) is not illegal in many countries so if that is what he has done then the police may not be interested.
However a punch would be a different matter.

DameDeDoubtance · 22/12/2016 19:12

Call the police and have him removed.

pipsqueak25 · 22/12/2016 19:12

knee jerk reactions to so little info, this is horrible if it has happened but there is far to little to really make comment on tbh

Branleuse · 22/12/2016 19:12

what sort of hit? Did he slap her leg or do you mean he seriously hurt her.
Not that slapping a leg is ok, but get it in perspective
