Is deleting facebook the answer. I try not to compare myself to others. I question if subconsciously I do and it's because of facebook. Is it making things worse for me.

They post on FB because deep down they are unhappy. They think that by posting on FB they are saying to the world look at me everything is fine aren't I having a great life, but the truth is.........if they where having a good life then they wouldn't have to post on FB to prove it to themselves. Go to OK cupid and ask for friends to chat to. It's not just a OLD site. There are lots of people on there who just want to chat by messaging or are seeking friends. If you can weirdo's just block them. Having been in your situation, I can tell you that it does get better.

When you're feeling lonely or having a bad time, and see "everyone" on Facebook seemingly having great holidays, living in fantastic houses, perfect kids etc, it can make you feel like a failure. Remember though, we all have problems it's just that no one posts the bad stuff on Facebook. It gives an unrealistic glimpse into other people's lives. Only the best bits get put on there. Concentrate on your life, not the "show life" of others.

Thanks everyone Smile
Day 2 and strangely surprised that I have no feeling of isolation from the world of facebook.
I know alot of it is down to my own issues at the moment but facebook wasn't helping.
Haven't heard ok cupid. Definitely need a social life well a babysitter first oh and money. Money would help haha!
