DH came home last night with a box of "Flowers Rose" Moet & Chandon - pink champers with gorgeous glasses too! Am chuffed as I love champagne. And as it's pink, I shall raise my glass to little Maude xx

nothing yet but I am sure I will get a card tonight as today is also our 3rd wedding anniversary (he leaves for work very early) - a meal and cinema tommorow night and I am taking us to paris on 27th for 2 days (it is his b'day on 28th)

Emskilou · 14/02/2007 12:47

No idea...he is being very secretive...
It arrived in the post at his work today apparently..
I had a nice big card and a single rose when I woke up this morning

(I'mm a bit shell shocked really, it isn't like him!!)

ludaloo · 14/02/2007 12:54

Oh..sneaky MMJ!!!!

I am cooking a romantic meal, have bought a couple of bottles of wine and made a lemon drizzle cake

OrmIrian · 14/02/2007 12:54

Undies again >. In spite of a convo a few weeks ago with DH(whilst he was arranging my knicker drawer to put his favourites at the top ) explaining that it wasn't a treat for me as I don't care about it. Still they were very pretty but I've already had a text from him asking me if I'm wearing it... Any tips for getting him to stop with the knickers and buy me some flowers??? And a DVD of something called Tideland - any one seen it, looks interesting. Terry Gilliam I think...

ludaloo · 14/02/2007 12:55

voodoowizbit I like your post!

DetentionGrrrl · 14/02/2007 12:58

maewest · 14/02/2007 13:09

We made lemon drizzle cake last night!

Got a handmade card with a message inside saying 'I love you. I have never been happier than now'. Made me cry a little, we've been together 10 yrs and we had DS last July.

Cooking nice dinner tonight.

missingmywine · 14/02/2007 13:25

wurlywurly · 14/02/2007 13:26

f*&% all, cant be bothered with it.

dressedupnowheretogo · 14/02/2007 13:26

card and a twirl!

clumsymum · 14/02/2007 13:26

I would consider it really bad if either of us didn't bother about a treat day like this.

God, day-to-day life is soooo humdrum, you need to make the most of the little opportunities that come along.

I'd be REALLY upset with dh if he didn't mark the day somehow (Not necessarily expensive, just thoughtful)

Flumpybumpy · 14/02/2007 16:09

Kama - you win, I think you got the best present
