We're doing gifts tonight. I got him some books and a card. He's been shopping a lot lately, there will probably be some CDs? Not sure what.

One year, he got me some shelves. Unassembled. Because I do like assembling furniture (not kidding!). His colleagues disapproved.

Thank you..not sure when the big day is..we've been together 10 years ...guess we're not in the habit of rushing into things..seeing as we are ttc no4 at the mo planning the date of the wedding could be tricky...

dh had a back op on Friday. While still recovering from the anaesthetic he arranged with my mum to book a table for us at a nice restaurant for dinner on Friday - even managed to ask her to babysit. Next day he couldn't remember asking her anything He also bought the card pre-op and has arranged with my mum to buy me something (flowers, I think). I am amazed at his organisation and thoughtfulness!

Lindt chocs and a card. Also going away (with children) for 2 days tomorrow. Just passed our local florist which is never busy and it is full of men!

Nothing from DH (harrumph) but Swarovski key chain, red roses, chocolates and a chocolate cake from some of our suppliers. DH had better buck up!

Thanks Scorpio. I can tell you how to get some it is really easy.

  1. Wear only washed out Primark jammie bottoms and ancient breast feeding tshirts to bed. Continue this until youngest child is four.

  2. Ask DH casually if you think said night attire is getting a bit unattractive. Mention that you would feel much sexier in more flattering nightwear.

  3. Open M&S website on computer and point out nice pyjamas mentioning correct size for you as you do so.

  4. Wait for appropriate present-giving occasion to come along.

See - easy peasy lemon-squeezy!

I got a nice big bottle of Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir perfume which I've been coveting for some time and a card with tiny paper pants and bra on it saying 'Sexy Lady' (tee hee). He is cooking me a steak dinner tonight - hurrah! Feeling very sorry for my friend who just called to let me know that all she'd got from her DP was a naked photo of himself texted to her. He couldn't understand why she immediately deleted it...

I've just pulled out my computer chair to find a card and the beautiful tunic top I admired in a shop window at the weekend.
I'm not really the soppy sort but I may have to have a quick slushy moment

i got a lovely card (which made me cry as usual) and a huge bar of galaxy...

i've bought champagne and choc for dh.

don't know if i'll do anything for dinner...

also know that there is a new diamond ring waiting for me in his sock drawer for when i 'pop' sprog no2 due any day....

Card & chocs. He ordered flowers to be delivered to work, but yet to arrive and in 25 minutes I am leaving for the day to go off site! Receptionist promised to put them in water but rather anoying. I am so shallow I love a big showy bouquet.

A Card and 2 VERY sexy novels !!!! Oh blimey, he'll expect me to read them (I prefer books with a good story line).

I gave him a card and a humorous book (The Uxbridge English Dictionary)

I think we have slightly differing views about our marriage. Do you think he's trying to spice things up?

From him- a card.
I got him some Taste the Difference Cava from Sainsburys, a Chocolate heart and made him a card. He told me I shouldn't have (bought the wine and choc heart) as we're getting a new car next month. I didn't spend a lot but thinking of not bothering next year. Kind of feel as we went throught a rough patch last November. Thought he appreciated me more.
