Date with no kiss..what do you reckon?

I had a date last night and we had such a laugh.
We went for drinks and got on well,plenty of laughs,no awkward moments but no kiss.
He walked me to the train stop and we said bye and that was that.
He text me ten minutes later saying that he really wanted to see me again.
He text me again tonight and we are going for food on Thursday night.
Was the no kiss last night a bad sign tho?
What date are you meant to kiss? Have sex?
I haven't dated for so long ..

I have nothing to report other than a few cautious texts back and forth so I need to hear someone else's juicy story (saddo with no life) who can maybe give me some tips

I went in full on IN PUBLIC (drunk haha)
Then we discussed that it had got weird with no kissing and he said he wanted to kiss me at the cinema but I had to rush off.

Then later we did lots more kissing that got quite heated but we did not go much further.

So now I have all the tummy flips

I can't remember when I last had any tummy flipping.

It was quite sexy he just said Really quietly at one point 'you are so sexy' and I tried not to swoon into a puddle onto the floor
