How many people are married to/still with their "first"

After reading the did you use a condom thread and seeing a few wedding nights etc it got me wondering....

How many people are still together with the first person they slept with (and I do mean the first one by choice for all those with such stories)?

yep me,

we got together when we were both 15 and we were each others first kiss too!

weve only ever slept with each other (i kissed someone else during a fall out a few years later , - but to this day im the only girl he has ever kissed!! ) and i wouldnt change it for the world,

Bobs mum, we did it 3 times on the 'first time' too and came together on the 2nd aswell!! snap, lol

i dont think we've missed out on anything

maybe if the sex was boring, but we're very adventourous sexually and i dont think i could do the things i do with anyone else!

Yes, I was one of the wedding night ones, happily married, 14 years this summer.

Bobsmum, like you, we struggled to wait, but knew that for us it was the right thing to do. I do not regret not playing around in my past, and am perfectly happy thanks!

But isn't it like, you know, chocolate? I mean, one might be perfectly happy and matched with, say, Green and Black's Almond but also wonder what the dark stuff was like, or maybe the cranberry one, or even a completely different brand like cheap milk chocolate....?

i mean i wouldnt stick to just one brand of chocolate (!) but thats just food

im not gonna lie, i see people and think 'mmmm' and i do wonder what it would be like, it would be new and exciting, but it would feel right,

at the end of it all, as long as i love him and he loves me there will NEVER be an oppotunity to find out, as i would never cheat

Well, I honestly don't wonder, as for me it just gets better and better . I just can't imagine having sex with anyone else, and really don't want to.

We are both Christians, hence the waiting til we got married - DH was my only boyfriend, and I hadn't wanted to sleep withanyone else before we got together when I was 17.

Both DH & I were the first for each other - we've been together for 33 years, married for 27 next May.

I may occasionally wonder what it would be like with somone else, but not enough to cheat on someone I love - after all, what are you supposed to do if you get it right first time?

MI - if you really think of sex as being like chocolate, no wonder you've had 25 brands

In the afterglow dh and I often look at each other and say "how could we do this with anybody else?" It's just sooooo intimate and I can't imagine it being as intense with someone else ever.

By the time we got married we were so wrapped up in each other emotionally, spiritually etc that when finally we got together physically it really was quite overwhelming! We both cried - in happiness I might add

I am (as is DH). I met DH at school when we were 16. We got married 8 years later, and now been married 8.5 years. Wouldn't change a thing

I have absolutely no regrets and no desire to know what it is like with someone else. I have no needs to want to imagine what someone else is like, honestly. Definitely ni need in that area.

I am DHs first and only, he wasnt mine due to other stuff I went through a very promiscous[sp?] stage.

I am - wedding night for us (well me, so it turns out, not that I'm bitter or anything )
Been together 10 1/2 years and married 8 and a half years.

if you discount my stories, then DP is my 1st. 8 and half years later and we have a lovely son and we're getting married in June.

and no, i don't wonder what someone else would be like. We have tried just about everything over the years, and i find he satisfies me, so why would i?

we went to high school together but weren't a couple until the 6th form. this christmas we have been together for 20 years, married for 10.

i am. When we met we was both with other people. We worked together and also knew each other socially. He split up with the girl he was seeing, then i split up who my boyf, then we got together the following day , everyone told us we wouldnt last. I lost all my "friends" as they all assumed i had been cheating on my ex, which i hadnt. 12 years later we are still together, and very in love.

Yep, met at 17, married at 25 two kids at 28 and 30, together now for 18 years

To think the 1st time i met him i thought.. hmm he's nice but theres no way we'll ever be a long term thing .. he was a bit of a "wideboy" !!

If he was my first, I would have been a 32 year old virgin- no way could I have waited THAT long!
