I was looking for a phone number in ohs contacts and came across a uberhoney.
Didnt realize it was a dating site till i googled.
He flew at me and said it was a virus and he didnt put it in there and threatened to throw his phone so i couldnt accuse him of anything.
Does this sound suspicious or could the number have been added to his contacts without him doing it.

Set up your own lie detector machine using the Operation Game. Ask him questions and every time he answers buzz him and shout 'Fail' !

Doinmummy · 14/08/2016 02:46

Seriously though Op , what do you want to do ? He sounds a bit volatile, keep safe .

clam · 14/08/2016 03:57

Of course he's lying. The anger is the first clue, and the lie detector shot clinched it.
Next thing, he'll be swearing on someone's life, either your kids (if you have any), or his mother's.

Creampastry · 14/08/2016 08:16

Say goodbye to him ....

AyeAmarok · 14/08/2016 08:21

Lying. The reaction says it all.

TheNaze73 · 14/08/2016 08:32

Have there been previous problems? I think he's deliberately done that to get caught

SandyY2K · 14/08/2016 08:50

Of course he's lying.
What kind of virus adds a contact to your phone?
Why get so angry?
Why throw a perfectly good phone away?

He's lying.

bluecashmere · 14/08/2016 08:55

God, the lie detector is laughable and absolutely confirms his guilt, not that it wasn't obvious anyway.

Don't bother discussing this any further as he will not fess up and it could get nasty.

BeMorePanda · 14/08/2016 09:04

Yep - liar!

SouthWindsWesterly · 14/08/2016 09:05

Rouge contact entry
Anger
Threats to destroy (essentially evidence!)
Demands for a lie detector

These are not the reactions of an innocent man. Someone is angry and embarrassed that they have been caught.

Sack him.

Sorry but the angry reaction is a give away. My ex reacted like this whenever I found evidence of his cheating, scumbag ways (unfortunately there was more than 1 because it took a log while to gather the strength to deal with it).

Its a classic deflection technique.

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 14/08/2016 09:10

Agree with others. This is classic lying. Hope you are ok x

ZaZathecat · 14/08/2016 10:05

The reaction of an innocent, unsuspecting person would have been puzzlement and confusion, not anger!

WamBamThankYouMaam · 14/08/2016 10:06

I've never heard of that happening.

If a rogue contact appeared in my phone I'd be legitimately baffled, not angry and aggressive.

ivykaty44 · 14/08/2016 10:08

I don't know how that got there?
It's a virus
I downloaded it for a mate
I was just looking out of curiosity
I'm really fucking awful at bullshitting

GingerbreadGingerbread · 14/08/2016 10:13

Guilty.

Missgraeme · 14/08/2016 10:14

Download it yourself then look up his profile. Show him your findings.

Then pack his stuff...

PamDooveOrangeJoof · 14/08/2016 10:17

Not only is he a liar, he's a really bad one!
His explanation and reaction are complete give aways.

hidingwithwine · 14/08/2016 10:19

Funny how these rogue contacts are never for recipes, the local supermarket or fitness, are they?! Hmm

user1469380647 · 14/08/2016 10:20

This man has form for lying, stupidly i went back to him. i was in a refuge and rehoused by the council.
Couldnt cope on my own as put out in the sticks with no care or transport.
thing is his always denied all his lies and i cant prove them 100%
Think his been using my blue badge for parking as well my dd dropped him in it, blue badge is now in my handbag not in car.
He flew in a rage on friday and said listen stupid, then couldnt understand why i was too upset to go to my support group.
All i get is im changed and not going to do it again.

Can you access his email? Without him knowing/having chance to delete any. That could provide the proof it sounds like you need. It sounds like he's lying imo.

Alternatively you could go on the site and put in his email address as forgot password, see if it picks him up as a registered user?

AlMinzerAndHisPyramidOfDogs · 14/08/2016 11:50

He's a born liar.
Who will never change.

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 14/08/2016 11:59

his always denied all his lies and i cant prove them 100%

Why do you need 100% proof? The law accepts 'beyond all reasonable doubt' and I think you have that here.

LesisMiserable · 14/08/2016 12:19

Does he follow this account on Twitter? My phone randomly synced my contacts to the people I follow on Twitter. In my phone book it states I have Richard Branson and Howard Donald in my contacts to name a few !! There are of course no numbers just Twitter handles. Could that be what has happened and he's just embarrassed about following it or was it an actual phone number. Still could just be automatically synced which would expjain why it's the real name IYSWIM
