I was messaging my best male friend the other day and was telling him that my drunk oh was trying to push me in to having sex. He replied with "oh, that'll be another kid on the way then!". Why would he say that?. I don't know how to take it.

Why did you tell him that, OP? Do you and this friend often discuss your sex lives with each other?

You say you didn't know how to respond - maybe he didn't either, thought WTF? and just sent the first random thing that popped into his brain.

It sounds like a jokey reply to a bit of over-sharing. It probably made him a bit uncomfortable. What did you expect him to say?
