I've met someone and I don't know how to finish this title.

I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

If he's not here in 10 minutes I'm giving up on him. Seriously, there's my answer. Confused

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:32

This - did you agree a time with him??

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 18:35

Is he late then?

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:36

Please say you agreed a time with him, and not just something like "after work." If that is what you said, perhaps he's popped home for a shower and change out of work clothes.

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:37

Because if you didn't agree a time then you have no recourse to just give up - that's unfair on him!

If you did agree a time and he hasn't contacted you then it absolutely is his fault and we will hint him down and string him up with his work shirt

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 18:39

After work which he said could be any time. But the garage is usually closed by 6.30. And here its past 7.30. I really thought he would have at least warned me he wasn't coming. As I said THERE'S my answer! But not the most satisfying one.

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 18:44

Woah hold on there This 'after work' is very vague don't go into that negative spiral just yet.

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:44

You are self sabotaging yet again

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:45

I think it is far too early to jump to such a conclusion.

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:46

I think you are being incredibly hard on B - you didn't agree a time?? How is he supposed to know you invented a deadline for which he HAD to stick to??!!??

I am being harsh now - you are being ridiculous!

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:46

The three Sybils speak as one GrinGrinGrin

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:48

The cybils???

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 18:49

I told my friend I would ring them after work today. I haven't done it yet, it isn't a specific time, it's a period of time.

He has probably gone for a shower and change etc. Really, really chill out, you will spoil it and be upset with yourself otherwise.

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 18:50

Silvery Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 18:50

Sorry! Wink

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:52

God I need to shut up - Muddle is so much more delicate than I am!!

Cybils - are they oracles??

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:52

Sybils were wise women, oracles, in Classical Greek times.

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:53

Ooohhh Silvery I really like that.... I always thought I had a touch of the supernatural about me...... that could be the prosecco talking yet again!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 18:54

I stand corrected but guys, listen, you've missed the point. His work is in my village, his house isn't. If he had come he would have done so from work directly before going home.

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:55

How far away does he live?

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 18:55

And you know that for a fact because...

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:55

Why??? Why wouldn't he freshen up first

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:57

Maybe he's gone to a nearby mate's house to get cleaned up?

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 18:57

If I was meeting someone after work - i'd go home, change, shower, refresh my make up....

If I had go straight after work I would have taken stuff to work to change.... he probably isn't in a position to change at work??

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 18:59

Well the Dephic Oracle got high on volcanic fumes IIRC, so I think Prosecco would count, Duchess.
