I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

Hello Muddle! Smile Monday evening is the only time we could both manage before I leave for England. I asked him where we should meet and whether I should come over to his work and he suggested coming round to my house. (The children will be there though so no thank you very much.) Just at that point his boss shows up. It's blooming impossible to communicate on one to one in that place! Anyway he has to do a small job on the car tomorrow late afternoon so hopefully we'll sort something out.

I said I wanted to see him not shall we go out for a drink. He jumped at the chance and asked me before I left why I wanted to see him. Grin "You'll see. Dont worry I won't bite." Wink He smiled. And I left it at that.

Poor sod. He's probably wondering what he's let himself in for.

CrazyDuchess · 30/06/2016 15:45

Ooohhhhhh this sounds so promising.... lol

Muddlewitch · 30/06/2016 16:13

Yay go This Grin

Muddlewitch · 30/06/2016 16:34

That has really cheered my day up. Does he know now that you are not going away permanently?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 16:44

Looks like a happy ending all round....duchess...your turn now...another 40 page epic lol

CrazyDuchess · 30/06/2016 17:17

I might just take the bold approach... club an random man on the head and drag him home by his hair then tie him to the sink.... who said romance is dead?? Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 17:19

Hang on Muddle, Sweeney, Crazy and Silvery! Nothing's certain yet! Maybe B thinks I want help with my garage door, again! Grin If so his desire to lend me a hand is quite touching! Anyways, tomorrow I'll suggest a drink. Fingers crossed and send a prayer skywards please friends!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 17:20

Are you suggesting that's what I did Crazy? Grin

Very sexy!

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 17:20

As long as he can cook duchess...any port lol

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 17:35

This...you know it's nailed on...as will...........

Muddlewitch · 30/06/2016 17:46

I bet he is secretly praying it's not that This

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 17:51

I don't understand what you wrote Sweeney! Grin

Like most things in life I don't believe it until I see a signed document! Wink

Do you think so Muddle? Smile Fishing for reassurance now.

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:00

Surely you not going to get him to sign something lol....id best not write what I was gonna put lol

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:11

Go on, Sweeney, write it!

He was all smiles and upbeat today! Making up for last time. Wink And I love the fact he likes Nirvana enough to listen to the entire album.

Muddlewitch, he told me the boss's wife had told him I was off to England, and was worrying about Brexit and how that might impact me. Sweet. I've kept him hanging about how long I'd be going for but implied I'd be back soon. I'm a tease! Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:12

Are you still at work Sweeney?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:13

So the bosses wife has played a part this...she will have known all along..

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:15

No...am at home this

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:17

It goes to show they communicate amongst themselves and care about their clients, Sweeney. Wink

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:18

Yep...and I'm sure she's suspected all along

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:21

What, that he fancies me or that I fancied him or both? God I'm fifteen years old all over again Sweeney.

Actually, I was chatting to a mate of mine this afternoon and he remarked on how respectful B has been from the start. Which is true.

By the way, in case yoyre wondering, I was out last night having drinks with friends hence my absence from Mumsnet.

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:24

Prob both this...id be very surprised if she didn't...youve done the hard bit...the rest will be plain sailing...just make sure you don't damage the bonnet of your car....oopppsss🙂🙈

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:38

I've done the hard bit? Hmm, Sweeney, I suggest you look at the fifth word in this message , add an e and look it up in French!

Once I told him I wanted to see him I just let him get on with working towards finding a solution. I'm so good at being quiet and letting the other person do the work. Wink

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 30/06/2016 18:41

THIS!!!!!!!!.....I nearly choked....probably more than you would 🙈

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:47

I simply had to share one of the biggest sources of misunderstanding between the French and English speakers Sweeney. A little bit, a tiny bit, etc etc. Especially cos the pronunciation is very similar.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 30/06/2016 18:48

I'll make sure I don't make that mistake with B! Grin
