I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

So, we'd be meeting sort of halfway (very, very roughly) in Yorkshire, Sweeney?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:04

Sounds good to me this....how about you prof??...can't beat Yorkshire...

TheSilveryPussycat · 28/06/2016 22:05

Some parts of Yorkshire are not far away from me.

Others are.

That's Yorkshire for you!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 28/06/2016 22:06

Sorry, I was joking, Sweeney. I won't have the time to wander up to the beautiful North.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 28/06/2016 22:06

Very philosophical Silvery. And most intriguing.

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:07

I'm not a kick in the arse off it myself silvery depending on where...

TheSilveryPussycat · 28/06/2016 22:08

It's big...when I drive South to London (occasionally), by the time I've traversed Yorkshire it feels like I am nearly there.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 28/06/2016 22:08

Right, I'm leaving you wonderful people to chat amongst yourselves whilst I head off for bed.

Sweet dreams to you all.

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:09

That's a shame this...not to worry...one day this...you have loads of Guinness to get through

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:10

Night this

ThisIsTheRightTime · 28/06/2016 22:11

I feel the same way about Normandy, Silvery. Five massive 'départements' in one region. It takes for ever to drive through it all.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 28/06/2016 22:12

Which is why I don't live in Normandy anymore! Wink

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:12

It's that m1 silvery...it seems never ending through Yorkshire

TheSilveryPussycat · 28/06/2016 22:13

A1(M) then M11 for me :)

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 22:15

Been a long time since I did the a1m route...seemed to be always very slow ...is it still single carriageway for a fair bit of itb

TheSilveryPussycat · 28/06/2016 23:41

No they've upgraded it a lot. And are doing massive widening works south of Darlington.

I remember when this was all roundabouts - used to hitch in the 1970s.

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 28/06/2016 23:54

I certainly remember the roundabouts....bit risky hitching isn't it silvery

TheSilveryPussycat · 29/06/2016 00:01

It didn't seem so at the time. But you are probably right. (In fact, I know you are. In his youth, Lovely Man was robbed while hitching. Being him, he somehow persuaded them to let him keep enough for his fare Shock )

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 29/06/2016 00:07

Not something I could do...sounds like your bloke had a lucky escape...well off to bed now silvery...up early for work...sleep well

TheSilveryPussycat · 29/06/2016 00:13

I will say that I never hitched on my own - only in a pair (except once when I arrived by train in Durham and there was deep snow).

Nighty night! (Am feeling excited about Thurs!)
