I've met someone and I don't know how to finish this title.

I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

You lot! I've been busy with RL and I come back to an unsettling display of blue, white, fake blond hair (unlike mine Grin) and spare tyres. Ha, ha, bloody spare TYRES, get it?

Does Silvery know B is a car mechanic?

I need you to be in red, white and blue please to give the garage the extra encouragement they need for the French football team. And could you arrange a choreography around Billy Joel's Uptown Girl please?

Not too demanding, am I?

I hope not.

Please, please all of you; I LOVE your enthusiasm, which warms my heart, but the outcome is more than likely going to be a no from him. The important thing is I'm plucking up the courage, isn't it?

Grin Grin Grin and three pints of Guinness!

Muddlewitch · 27/06/2016 19:42

Yes This the fact you are plucking up the courage is the most important thing, and we are all very proud of you for it.

I'm think we sway for the 'woah, woah, woah' bit, then raise our Pom poms above our heads for the 'Uptown girl' bit. Can you do cartwheels?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:42

Think it'll be me buying the Guinness for you this...

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 19:44

Thank you for the vote of confidence Muddle.

Why's the Guinness on you, then Sweeney?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:47

Cos if he says yes I buy the Guinness ..don't I

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:48

Shit,,,have I got that wrong....whoever buys when he says yes will be the one buying

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 19:49

Ah, well that's crystal clear then, thank you Sweeney! Smile

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:49

Sorry ...was too busy trying this skirt on

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:50

Muddle...I can do that...and go woah woah woah ...yep...when do we practice

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:52

Unfortunately...cartwheels are out...I'm more like a cart horse

ProfessorPickles · 27/06/2016 19:54

It's definitely about having the courage This, it'll set the precedent for any future encounters and you'll feel even more courageous each time. Hopefully there won't be another time though!!

I will get practicing the routine for you tonight Grin

Actually, on second thoughts, I might go for the man in Sweeney's picture instead of B. I mean, honestly, who wants a young bloke who's 1m80, lean and very, very fit?

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:57

Whoaaaaaa THIS....what do you mean man in my pic...that is me

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 19:58

I'm lean....just unfortunately we over here call it a stoop lol

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 19:58

It is about being courageous in love, Prof, but when you really, really like somebody... All those feelings!

You know, I think you and I are making headway though. Your texts this morning were liberating and if I can truly and rather quickly believe, after his potentially disappointing answer, that what is meant to be is meant to be then hopefully I'll be able to turn the page and move on.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 20:01

Sorry, my mind has blocked out anything and everything apart from the image of B's body.

Gulp.

Me, shallow? Blush

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 20:02

Not at all this...you'll be getting to grips with it very shortly 😀

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 20:05

I cannot understand, kindness and enthusiasm aside, why you would think that he's going to say yes Sweeney? After all the doubts evoked?

Understandably, it makes for a heck of a more enjoyable thread for us all! Grin So, keep it coming! Ha, ha!

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 20:14

to be honest this it's a hard one to call...and I've been toing and froing from yes to no from no to yes....but reading later threads since I mentioned before...I'm thinking you gonna get a pleasant surprise...now...who buys the Guinness when he says yes

ProfessorPickles · 27/06/2016 20:25

We are all coming to your pub when he says yes Sweeney Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 27/06/2016 20:26

Except for me, Prof! It's flipping miles away from me!!!

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 20:26

Jackpot....but you can't say where I met you all...I have a reputation to keep up lol

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 27/06/2016 20:28

Oh come on this....it's not that far...if you swim over the channel then veer right and straight up the coast I'll look out the window for you

ProfessorPickles · 27/06/2016 20:35

Fantastic pictures Sweeney, I wish I could pull of that look half as well! Smile

You must wear it or else we might not recognise you Grin

Yeah it's just a quick swim This, don't be daft!
