Have been with boyfriend for coming up two years. He's recently been staying at mine more often with a view to moving in later this summer. Everything is going well...

He's always had a couple of condoms in his wash bag, they actually went out of date not long after we got together. I went into his wash bag this morning (to borrow some cream for a cut) and noticed the condoms had been replaced. New ones go out of date this month (June 16). I can understand throwing the old ones away. Bit miffed at the replacement.

I'm on the coil. We haven't used condoms since we both had an sti check at the beginning of the relationship.

I will ask him about it. This morning he was still asleep and I was late for work. He's back at mine Wednesday night. I wanted to canvas opinion before i raise it. Before him I was in an EA relationship and made many a bad judgement call so don't trust myself not to fall for bullshit!

What would you think?

Have you had a good laugh with your mates and his mates down the pub about foot condoms yet?

If my DH were using condoms like that, all our mates and I would be having such a good laugh about it, as would DH. Then there would be all the photos mates would have taken over all these years when he'd whipped a condom out up a mountain with a friend but it turned out it was to protect a wound. Oh the Brokeback jokes they'd make. I never realised you felt like that about me Dave not my DH's real name They'd laugh their heads off.

The looks on his friends faces and how they laugh might be interesting when you joke about what he uses his condoms for.

No, but there are jokes / digs about him being overly prepared and taking everything for every scenario regardless of how likely it is to happen.

When i caught him out before the reaction / lie looked different from the reaction this time.

So...Without sounding harsh, doesn't that just mean he knows how to lie to you more convincingly now.
