I just never have any luck. Can I have a hug?

((hugs))
On a good note, you still have time to take his presents back to the shop and get yourself something!

DraenorQueen · 13/12/2015 18:02

Ugh, sorry about that! Had you been together long?

AnyFucker · 13/12/2015 18:02

Have a hug. Getting dumped is shit.

But it isn't Christmas.

magoria · 13/12/2015 18:03

Hugs

There is never a good time to be dumped. If they had hung on until after christmas then valentines comes around, then a birthday etc.

Take his presents back and spend it on yourself.

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 18:04

His presents were from a pop up Christmas market which is gone so I guess they can just go in the bin. We're together a year. So fed up. I'm a single mum who's ex had nothing to do with my DD so it's not even like I can have the odd weekend to go out an meet someone.

I'd been with somebody for 11m when I had a very bad accident in 2013 he txt me he was moving to find a job .... But since then I knew he was telling porkies move on I did Smile

Lacoba66 · 13/12/2015 18:08

Have a hug from me too.

Can't you put the pressies on eBay or gumtree? Get something back for them.

Find babysitters in the New year and get out there Grin

donajimena · 13/12/2015 18:21

Oh you poor thing. Its shit. However it is also shit being dumped after and finding they hung on due to festivities. Flowers as has been said there is never a good time

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 18:22

I just give up now really!

Hugs to you. I know you're hurting now but soon you will look back and laugh at being so upset over him. One day he'll be old/bald/wrinkly/badly dressed and he'll have aged badly. He's a total loser and you can do sooo much better. Every cloud has a silver lining, lots of hot guys to snog under the mistletoe this year so don't waste too much time feeling bad. Have a big bubble bath, eat lots of chocolate, have a couple of glasses of something nice, watch a good chick flick and then try tour forget abut him. You won't feel like it but call up your friends and arrange a night out. Dress to kill and a nice pair of heels, and party the night away with your friends. You will find someone wonderful who deserves you. Flowers

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 18:24

I don't even drink Grin so can't even get smashed and forget about it haha. Oh well.

Headmelt · 13/12/2015 18:48

I got some mulled non alcoholic fruit punch wine from Marks and Spencer recently it's lush. At least you won't be hung over .
Have you someone nearby to babysit so you can go out?

MyGastIsFlabbered · 13/12/2015 18:51

I got dumped last Monday too. It's shit isn't it? We were supposed to be going to a gig tonight, and going to the cinema on Friday. I'm a single parent too so can commiserate.

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 19:01

I'm just so devastated. We were supposed to be saving up next year to get a place together, and now it's all gone down the shitter.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 13/12/2015 19:05

Have you got all your money back ?

MyGastIsFlabbered · 13/12/2015 19:14

We'd been together 7 months, no long term plans made yet but it was going really well, I had no idea this was coming. Sorry you feel like this.

DeeDee47 · 13/12/2015 19:21

I was dumped this time last year, and was dumped again a month ago,I'm getting quite good at it now!!hugs it is shit, and everyone around you seem to be loved up,the only thing I can hope is that this time next year has to be better for us x

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 19:22

We need a big mumsnet night out!

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 19:23

Hillfarmer · 13/12/2015 19:28

Yep it's definitely not Christmas yet. Sorry OP, he is not worthy.

AnyFucker · 13/12/2015 19:39

2 weeks before Xmas is the outer limit of what is acceptable dumping before the Big Day

it's still just the 13th December, any other day, honest

hefzi · 13/12/2015 22:07

Sorry to hear this Flowers - the only positive thing is that tomorrow, you are going to be one day closer to getting over him. I realise that's not totally uplifting - having a bit of a shit one at this end too Grin

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 22:45

Flowers To everyone going through it too. He texted me asking if he can still come over and see me occasionally. Ummmmm go fuck your self! Grin

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 13/12/2015 22:51

I really really hope that was your precise reply

UmbongoUnchained · 13/12/2015 23:00

Go fuck your self was the slightly nicer version of the reply I actually sent!
