I don't think this is gaslighting at all. To be honest I'm not even sure if he was "lying" in the truest sense. It sounds like the two of you didn't even have a relationship but had a few dates where you were clearly mismatched and where communication was terrible. Neither of you really "got" the other person or what they wanted from it. Now he's moved on and you need to move on too.
