No.

And there is NO WAY I'd have told her.

I was abroad when I lost my virginity, and then had two partners in the 2 years between then and when I left home at 18.

My sister and two close first cousins (female) knew, and got me on birth control.

But there is NO WAY I'd have told my mum.

Even though I had sex in her bed .

DetentionGrrrl · 13/11/2006 11:57

I was 16 when sexually active anyway, and stayed over my fella's house, so yes. (he's still my fella now)

madmarchhare · 13/11/2006 11:57

lol, at ILs though we had to be married.

Smurfgirl · 13/11/2006 11:58

Hah no, she asked me at 17 if I had ever kissed someone

Now though she lurves dp, surprised there are no condoms on our pillows when we go to stay have been v.surprised at how liberal they have beem with us.

frazzledazzle · 13/11/2006 11:58

My mum found my pill when she was in my room "looking for a magazine" then she said is he the one then i.e If I've slept with him I should marry him!

IdrisTheDragon · 13/11/2006 11:59

I only just managed to have sex as a teenager (fairly late starter).

expatinscotland · 13/11/2006 11:59

My first boyfriend after I got back from France was this Dutch fella whose parents expected him to have sex. I mean, he was 17, after all.

So I'd lie and say I was staying w/my friend Suzanne, when really I was at his.

My next boyfriend was this Austrian bloke here on a year's exchange. His host family were hippies, so they let us sleep in the same room/bed and their 16-year-old daughter's boyfriend lived there.

I'd say I was staying over at a friend's overnight .

NomDePlume · 13/11/2006 12:01

For the record - my Mum isn't remotely hippy-ish

expatinscotland · 13/11/2006 12:01

What was her reasoning for letting hte boyfriend move in, NdP, if you don't mind my asking?

madmarchhare · 13/11/2006 12:02

I was having a new carpet in my bedroom and had stayed at friends overnight.
My mum decided that she would surprise me and get it fitted while I was out.
She told me that anything she had found laying around she had put in my top draw out of the way.
I knew what would be in there before I even looked. A vibrator.

GoingQuietlyMad · 13/11/2006 12:05

God no. Would have been mortified. Still haven't admitted it or talked about it. Although I suspect my brother let the cat out of the bag when I was about 25.

expatinscotland · 13/11/2006 12:06

I have never discussed sex w/my mother. Or my father.

No, I just don't go.

NomDePlume · 13/11/2006 12:07

Basically we were living in a proprty that my Mum had bought with her arsehole of a bloke (at the time). She couldn't afford to pay the mortgage alone if she got rid of him, so we agreed that my boyfriend should move in and pay rent to help cover the mortgage (amongst other reasons)

LadyTophamHatt · 13/11/2006 12:11

Yes she did.

I think she suspected. I was at home but DH (9 years older) had his own place and I stayed often. She never asked but I know she wouldn't have had a problem. I was 8 weeks pregnant at the wedding but we kept it under our hats until we came back from honeymoon!

Gillian76 · 13/11/2006 12:14

But i wasn't a teenager, I was 22/23.
