You see, I wouldn't mind having to look after all the kids on a Sunday if only I know in advance I'm going to be doing it. Instead the cowerd slopes off, three Sundays in a row, at the last minute, giving me no idea when he might deign to return.

The floor's too good for him. I think the bath might serve him better.

whitestar · 22/10/2006 20:19

No new dress then!!!!!!

Hope they do good all expenses payed christmas do!

CountTo10 · 22/10/2006 20:19

Oh no whitestar! Well as long as he is ok - must have been quite worrying.
It defo is a mars and venus thing. We have the same row week in week out, the fact that I virtually have to force him to stay home and spend sundays with us as he is out all day playing footie on a saturday. I don't think its too much to ask given he works ft mon-fri but he thinks the weekend should be his to relax and recover - wtf??? Things is he prob won't turn back up here now till I've gone to be and tomorrow it will all be my fault for nagging him in the first place!!!! Is it us are we too harsh or do they just take the piss???

whitestar · 22/10/2006 20:20

?Bath with many real spiders in lol

Spidermama · 22/10/2006 20:21

Mine gets paid nothing at all. It's a hobby fgs. I work five days a week (albeit part time) then spend 3 sundays in a row looking after his kids while he does his hobby.

Emeline Pankhurst will be turning in her grave.

I should stop posting on here now as I'm only upsetting myself.

Let's give 'em hell girls. I understand the Mars and Venus bollocks but why do we all have to live like Martians?

Veuns must triumph!

whitestar · 22/10/2006 20:23

Why is it that women nag and blokes just stste an opinion?

Molton · 22/10/2006 20:23

Hmmm any chance your DH works for a large Swiss bank that owns much of the Liverpool Street area? I sense some parallels between your life and my own!

whitestar · 22/10/2006 20:26

|Thats STATE an opinion!

Why can't I write anymore

CountTo10 · 22/10/2006 20:26

I defo know if I randomly worked on sundays unpaid and last minute dp would be going up the wall - but when they do it its like you should feel sorry for them as they're doing the providing bit. Defo the bath with great big spiders and an annoying dripping tap!!! He he he he he!!!

babywhiting · 22/10/2006 20:27

God I wish mine would go back to work!
How difficult can ordering indian take away be, surely thats not classed as multi tasking

Spidermama · 22/10/2006 20:33

Funnily enough my sister's here at the moment. She flew in from Glasgow with her baby and her 5 year old and all the families luggage for SEVEN months . They're all going to the Maldives as she has a job there with the Red Cross. So she made it with her boys and their bags all the way from Glasgow.

Her dh meanwhile had to come here to Brighton, on his own, from Whitstable. He called to say it might be a bit tricky and he may not come and meet her after all because he might have to change trains. FFS.

So there's a lot of it about.

She put him straigh. Venus was victorious.

whitestar · 22/10/2006 20:35
