Dh and I were together for 6.5 years before we got married, now been married for 10.5 years. What about you?

Lived together since 1985 but never married.
Have all the parental responsibility agreements and wills in place for the children though.

Planning on getting drunk and dancing lots on the Saturday night which will carry over into early hours of Sunday morning. Then having a big lunch and a bottle of champagne and then taking babies to the park for fun!

That limp dick tosser of an ex husband of mine will not been in my thoughts at all (I hope!) Oooh do I seem angry?!?!

Together 10 years before marriage (never thought it would happen tbh but we were only 18 and 20 when we met), been married 4 years. Have a DD 17 mths.

He moved in with me two days after we had our first date. It's true what my mum always said "you just know when you have met Mr Right". His parents had moved away, he was living with his brother so I said "wanna stay here?"[tart emoticon]!

We got engaged after 6 months and got married exactly two years to the day that we got together.

Still happy 14 years later - she says, speaking for both of us!

Married Dec 1994 - so almost 12 years married, after going out for almost 3 years and engaged for almost 2. Didnt move in together until we got married.

3 children born 2000, 2002, 2003

Engaged after a year, we will be married after 3.5 years.

met 1997, moved in to his flat after 3.5 months, bought a house together in 2001 and got engaged the same year, getting married in 2008, 2 cats 0 children, yet.

going out 7yrs before got engaged then married one yr later, 5 yrs later and have fab DD.

did make DH wince when got engagment ring though, he said you can spend this much and i said, if you had asked me within 2 yrs then i wd have been happy with a chip but you made me wait 7 yrs so want something BIG, i spent 1k more than he said.am not materialistic in any other way but feel i truly deserve this diamond and am not at all sentimental so have said if he ever earns a big wad bonus i am happy to trade up!!!
