(feel free to add your bits about your DH/P's)

-we don't have much but what we have we share - 95% of the time.
-he might go away a lot but makes up for it when he's home
-he did a 24 hour shift with no sleep then came home and stayed up all day to look after Joey so I could have a day to myself and have a lay in - after I'd told him to go to bed
-he treats me nicely - not always the best but better than most
-supports everything I do/want to do - even made a card with me
-makes me laugh, normally at him but still laugh
-brings me bars of choccy just because
-washes up!

he's far from perfect but he's mine, and we work together even thou I can be a total cow to him

He puts up with all my shit with (not much) complaint.

lulunaticmama · 05/10/2006 18:14

he loves the kids more than i would have ever thought possible

he makes me toast with messages carved out of it

he bought me a bunny rabbit and a mr frosty because my parents never got me those when i was growing up

he went out once to buy me a remote control battery for my car and bought me a new car!

foulmoonfiend · 05/10/2006 18:17

he loves me
he still claims I'm beautiful
he's great in bed
He lets me do what I want
He knows I'm always right
He's the best dad to my boys I could hope for
He bought me a campervan
He's the only bloke I've ever met who shares the same music taste.

hoolagirl · 05/10/2006 19:05

He still thinks im gorgeous (allegedly) and tells me so every day !
He listens to all my ramblings and agrees with me (sometimes)
Generally just really nice to me and my ds all the time, nothing's too much bother

Munz · 05/10/2006 20:34
  • glad it's not just me then!

He never moans about me poking him in the ribs to stop him snoring in the middle of the night. If it were the other way round, I'd probably hit back

Tawny75 · 05/10/2006 20:37

He makes me feel like I am the sexiest woman alive even though I look like the back end of a bus.

I can be my self with him, no 'front' no pretending

He makes me laugh

He loves my daughter as if she was his own.

He buys me daft presents just to see me smile.

He says I am the best thing that ever happened to him

It sounds stupid but I love him for being him. Everything from his daft jokes to his bald head. He makes me happy.

He

Meant to add, he is mine and I am his and I wouldn't change that for the world

...after a pretty rocky patch (lots of reasons, some might remember a couple of threads) up until fairly recently, he is making an absolutely fab effort now - I am absolutely certain that some horrible things that have happened between us will not happen again
...he is brilliant and wonderful with ds
...he has been taking over the 'early shift' with ds about 90% of the time recently, giving me desperately needed extra sleep
...I absolutely 100% KNOW he would never, ever be unfaithful
...we can have a great laugh together
...he is a fab cook and has no problem with housework
...I went to the fridge for something the other day and found a bar of lovely chocolate (a type I love and he hates) in there

He has a lovely laugh - unlike my donkeyhonk, he has this bubbly chuckle - I love to hear it

And he can't tell a joke to save his life - he always ends up telling the punchline in the question, or getting the salient bits wrong - it's funnier than the actual joke! Makes me laugh every time!!!

He puts up with my weird family

He doesn't mind that I'm a geek and always will be

He loves my thunderthighs

He makes me laugh

He has this lovely gap in his front teeth and big muscly arms

He makes me lie down when I am tired and waits on me hand and foot

And brings me chocolate

AnguaVonUberwald · 06/10/2006 12:04

He actually hears what I say on important stuff and believes me when I say it (thought never listens on the little things).
He looks after me when I am tired/upset. but doesn't try and wrap me up in cotton wool.
he finds me sexy, and intelligent, and interesting, and makes me feel like I actually am those things.
He is mine

lucykate · 06/10/2006 12:06

he has a large ............

Bananaknickers · 06/10/2006 12:09

He buys me chocolate
brings me breakfast in bed every morning
Washes up
cuddles me loads
and puts up with me

Sophiev73 · 06/10/2006 12:23

He loves me.
He's the most honest person I know.
He's an amazing Dad when his was so shit.
I know we're going to grow old together and that makes me so happy.
He makes me laugh at myself just when I want to take myself far too seriously.

LieselVonTrappDoor · 06/10/2006 12:47

The thing that attracted me first still attracts me - the fact that he can make me laugh 24/7.

expatinscotland · 06/10/2006 12:49

He's hung like an upright hoover and is a top sh*g.

Well, you asked!

TinyGang · 06/10/2006 12:50

Ummm...bank balance Lucykate?

foundintranslation · 06/10/2006 12:55

kama and Floating (wasn't back before, sorry): of course he hasn't got an electronic tag, but I just do. I don't think it is naivete. It is just something which would not enter his radius IYSWIM.
