In light of bad threads - I love my DH because.....

-we don't have much but what we have we share - 95% of the time.
-he might go away a lot but makes up for it when he's home
-he did a 24 hour shift with no sleep then came home and stayed up all day to look after Joey so I could have a day to myself and have a lay in - after I'd told him to go to bed
-he treats me nicely - not always the best but better than most
-supports everything I do/want to do - even made a card with me
-makes me laugh, normally at him but still laugh
-brings me bars of choccy just because
-washes up!

he's far from perfect but he's mine, and we work together even thou I can be a total cow to him

all your reasons munz hun - bar the washing up - we have a dishwasher but he loads it and empties it.

he also does all the laundry

he plays with the girls SO much more than i do and enjoys it far more than i do

he never moans if the house is a shit-tip when he gets home from work

he wants to stay at home with the kids and supports my decision to go back to work and be the bread-winner

he works for his money, yet lets me spend it.... cant remember the last time he had pennies in his pocket

he loves me unconditionally and doesnt care if we dont have sex for weeks on end

Can we get the Oxford definition of love on here for me please.

mines well off this list now - i told him on sun night take £20 out of the bank tomorrow (he's away at the mo for 3 weeks) then u can have another £60 when joey's money goes in tueday week - he went up there with fags and £20, so how much did he take - £65, we're now left with the car ins not paid, and he's expecting the £60 on tues - well he can FCUK right off cos I need that for food . he can bloody suffer and have £20 if i'm feeling nice urghhhh! I know it's 'his' money as I don't work but FFS the bills come b4 drinking.

I love mine because:

• he was absolutely sure about us after first date

• he puts up with my horrendous mood swings

• he's got the best legs in the universe. and everything else, thinking about it actually.

• he always says yes to whatever plan I have got for the day, even when he's tired and rather stay in front of the telly all day

• he never ever moans about anything, never complains, never criticise me

• thinks I am beautiful, and super clever etc

• he is the best dad ever

• he always complains that I should buy myself more, or more expensive

• (a bit materialistic this one) he bought me the car I'd always wanted since I was 18!!!

• he listens to most of what I have to say

[but I am still annoyed that he did not organize anything for our anniversary.]

I love my dh cos he listens. Even when things are bad. Some days I feel like giving up but he is there.
(And he blows raspberry's on my neck and that makes me laugh)

.....because he is so kind and caring yet strongm, he did such a wonderful job teaching our 18 month old to settle herself to sleep in her big bed last night and then got up in the night to do it again and says he will do that for a few more nights till she is used to it and me doing it won't make her just want me again

also he says I'm the most gentle and caring woman he has ever met and couldn't love me more
he works far too hard to keep our lovey house and he is a wonderful loving dadyy to our girls

I love my dp because:

Hes my soul mate
Hes my best friend
He always knows how to make me laugh
He tells my im gorgous and that he loves me every day
He buys me silly little things that make me smile
He is absolutly gorgous but doesnt seem to notice
I just love him for being him and for bringin me the happiness i neva thought id find!!!

• worked hard so that i could stay home with kids
• fantastic dad
• always tells me i look nice
• always gives me some time to myself at the weekend
• very supportive in my choices
• very loving kisses me every morning before leaving for work
• calls me everyday from work

because he so easily makes me laugh so hard that I nearly wet myself (which he thinks is sweet)

because....

he is loving, caring and honest... he is very generous with his time and will help anyone as much as he can.... he is funny.....he is a brilliant dad.....he is cuddely.....and he is all mine!!!

• He waited on me hand and foot all through the 3 months of my morning sickness and didn't complain (much)
• He's always trying to be a better person even though he's the kindest, sweetest man I've ever met

I love this thread! I know there are lot of dickheads out there, but there are also alot of wonderful men too, I should know because I'm married to one!
I love my DH because -
He is gorgeous
Got a lush body (did athletics until he was 20ish, and has still got the body )
Works very hard, and very long hours, so I can be a part time SAHM
Doesn't mind me spending "his" money
There's no acting - I can be myself
Took me to Alton Towers for our first date (and borrowed his friends convertible to take us) my face hurt because we had laughed so much through the day
He tells me I'm beautiful, and that he's lucky to have me. (I tell him that I'm the lucky one)
When we've had problems, we've worked through them together, nothing is one sided
We have a great sex life
He is a wonderful dad to DS (and will be to lo no2)

I love him just because he is who he is x

I love my DP because.....

he's my best mate
he tries his best to give me and the kids everything we want and need
he's hot in the sack

- He makes me laugh - He makes me feel good about myself - I felt, and still feel, as though I hit the jackpot when he told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me - He is kind and thoughtful (mostly ) - He pulls his weight at home (though sometimes needs a little push.... - He is a wonderful wonderful father, and isn't afraid of showing his affection for the boys - He puts up with me - All our friends look up to him, and always ask him for practical advice

because he has an amazing faith - his serious Christianity (which I hope I emulate but dont think I can meet up to) informs everything he does - he is the most CONSISTENT man I have ever met

because he is gorgeous and fun and loves me and thinks I am beautiful even 5st overweight and is the man I always hoped I would be with fo rever.

Because he's the kindest person I've ever known.
Because he understands me without me having to explain, always.
Because he has broad shoulders and a thick skin, and he has been a rock through some of the roughest times of my life.

I went out all day, came back exhausted, grumpy and hormonal and found... a clean and tidy lounge, kitchen ad DDs room
