Arranged a date for tonight on Monday... but I haven't heard from him today confirming it. I contacted him an hour ago but haven't heard back. Do I assume it's still on?!

Did you make plans for where to/what time etc? Or just agree on the night?

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 18:26

Yes agreed time and place...

Tonicandgin · 16/07/2014 18:27

What time is it? He many comes back to you shortly..?

MumOfTheMoos · 16/07/2014 18:28

Is he on his way back from work perhaps?

LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 18:28

Did you agree to meet somewhere? If so, go along as arranged. If not, I would give him a call. If he doesn't reply then I'd assume he's changed his mind. In which case you made a lucky escape.

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 18:30

Funny thing is I only have his email address but know he gets email on his phone. Kinda forgot to ask for his number lol

OP posts:
LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 18:39

I'd just go along. Maybe send him a short email confirming. Good luck. Always a bit nerve wracking!

UncrushedParsley · 16/07/2014 18:41

I would go, esp if you've organised sitters etc.

Happy36 · 16/07/2014 18:43

If you have confirmed time and place, go. If you haven't done so already drop him a quick email to say, see you at x at x time tonight.

Have a great time!

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 18:53

Yeah, emailed him nearly 2 hours ago now! It's a bit of a drive to get where we're meeting - pub in the middle of nowhere really!

OP posts:
LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 19:16

What time are u meeting?

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 19:21

8pm but I need to leave at 7.40 to get there on time

OP posts:
LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 19:31

Ok, it's getting on. He may not have read his email. Go along as arranged and I'm sure he'll be there. Good luck.
P.s. Don't forget to ask him for his number ( if u like him that's is!)

flatbellyfella · 16/07/2014 19:53

Are you there yet sassy777 good luck .

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 20:07

Yes, I'm here and waiting!

OP posts:
LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 20:09

He's late. Are u ok?

GirlWithTheLionHeart · 16/07/2014 20:10

I wouldn't go if I didn't hear from them on the day

iwantgin · 16/07/2014 20:11

Has he arrived?

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 20:17

Still waiting! I'm fine though - it's quite a busy pub so I'm just people watching.

OP posts:
akaWisey · 16/07/2014 20:19

He's late. How long are you going to give him?

LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 20:22

Give him 10 more minutes. If he doesn't turn up then send him an email saying you waited half an hour and you are now on your way home. Then say that you were disappointed in his lack of manners and you hope he treats his next potential date with more respect!
Hope he turns up though and he has a genuine reason for being late.

iwantgin · 16/07/2014 20:23

So it was arramged to meet at 8.00?

Sassy777 · 16/07/2014 20:25

Yes 8pm... I'm not that fussed tbh! Was in two minds about meeting up with him anyway. Got free wifi here so not all bad.

OP posts:
iwantgin · 16/07/2014 20:28

Ah well.

I had this often when on line dating.

Lots of talk but when it came to meet they went quiet.

LittleLadyFooFoo · 16/07/2014 20:30

So sorry OP. Glad you are enjoying the free wifi! Any hot guys in the pub? :0)
