first date question

Arranged a date for tonight on Monday... but I haven't heard from him today confirming it. I contacted him an hour ago but haven't heard back. Do I assume it's still on?!

I always used to send a text/email to double check meetings are still on - online or offline; it's standard - I can ever understand why someone couldn't have the manners to at the very least lie, and save the other party the journey!

You have taken it very well. I wouldn't have gone myself if it hadn't been confirmed on the day, even a quick see you later.

Yes there are some nice men here but all taken by the looks of things. Been chatting to my friend on the phone but am leaving now. 45 mins is far too long to wait!
