Bit of fun.
Who would you cast as your partner or husband (or wife) in a film.

My partner would have to be played by Alan Davies (complete with duffle coat) or that bloke who played the Facebook creator in The Social Network.

In my eyes - I would be Drew Barrymore but that's neither here nor there. So.,,,, how about yours?

Actually a mixture between the two.

Mepmep · 25/04/2014 11:08

Ethan Hawke. DH is definitely a head-turner, tall, chiseled and very Ethan Hawke in the 'Before Sunset/Before Midnight' movies. DH is probably darker though.

aftereight · 25/04/2014 11:10

Tom Cruise, but younger

DuPainDuVinDuFromage · 25/04/2014 11:12

Sidge! I forgot about Gru, DH has been compared to him on several occasions! Is he a more desirable catch than Jean Reno do you think?

Bluedolphin1971 · 25/04/2014 11:28

For DH defo Paul Walker, me, Andrea Corr (I've been told I look like her)

Sidge · 25/04/2014 11:54

DuPain it was my DD1 who thought my man looks like Gru Grin

It doesn't sound very complimentary, and yes he is short and bald with skinny legs but he doesn't have Gru's nose. He's also sweet, kind, thoughtful and adores my 3 DDs.

Although he doesn't run an underground lair full of minions; more's the pity as I'd quite like some minions.

figgypuddings · 25/04/2014 12:13

Mr Creosote. Angry

He has just scoffed the three remaining rolls and none for me.

Lweji · 25/04/2014 12:20

Tom Cruise, but younger

I hope not this version Grin

MummyBeerest · 25/04/2014 12:29

Edward Norton. In American History X, without the Nazism.

So...a bald Edward Norton.

I've been told I look like Katie Holmes. I'd rather look like Katy Perry.

StoneFoxMama · 25/04/2014 12:35

Devendra Banhart and Ana Kras are our dopplecouple, it's v weird.

DuPainDuVinDuFromage · 25/04/2014 12:58

DH's likeness to Gru mostly comes from the polo neck and grumpy look (because he's cold) in winter - and the baldness!

figgy Grin

SlightlyJadedJack · 25/04/2014 13:14

The older ladies would say George Clooney but about 10 years ago my nieces and nephews were very confused when they saw alessandro+safina the opera singer on TV and were convinced it was their uncle. There is a definite likeness although the mouth is different.

LadyPenny · 25/04/2014 13:17

Dh looks a lot like that bloke from Eastenders, Jack Branning. Personality would be David Walliams without the campness if that makes sense.

BeetlebumShesAGun · 25/04/2014 19:53

My mum thinks Robert Pattinson with a few extra stone pounds. DP hates him, I think I'm lucky! Although it's mainly the eyebrows.

On a slightly unrelated note my Dad is and always has been the spitting image of John Travolta. They have aged in exactly the same way, it's quite unnerving!

wishinwaitinhopin · 25/04/2014 20:56

Yes!!! They all say (all his mates) that he looks like Jesse what's his name (the social network man). He's deeply offended. I think it's fab.
Fit!!

Realistically it would the Survival expert Ray Mears, as my OH is ALWAYS mistaken for him everywhere we go. He even signs autographs LOL.

Fantasyland, Ray Stephenson aka Titus Pollo in HBO Rome miniseries - phwoar. Or perhaps whats his chops who played Beppe in Eastenders...
