Bit of fun.
Who would you cast as your partner or husband (or wife) in a film.

My partner would have to be played by Alan Davies (complete with duffle coat) or that bloke who played the Facebook creator in The Social Network.

In my eyes - I would be Drew Barrymore but that's neither here nor there. So.,,,, how about yours?

A taller and doughier Sly Stallone. With not much hair left. Alternatively, if anyone can think of an actor who has not much hair left and who looks like Sly Stallone but who's taller and doughier in his physique - him.

Little known Irish actor, Ben Peel is a dead ringer for my DP (played the copper who Gillian Anderson shagged in The Fall).

Plus they're both dark and brooding ;)

Best1sWest · 24/04/2014 21:36

In his younger days, Omar Sharif in Dr Zhivago. The likeness is amazing.

olaflikeswarmhugs · 24/04/2014 21:39

He's not an actor but my dh is a dead ringer for Lionel Messi

wallaby73 · 24/04/2014 21:50

Jeff goldblum......his double in almost every way Wink

punygod · 24/04/2014 21:51

DP looks like Peter Gabriel - as he is now. But with a proper beard, not a goatee.

wundawoman · 24/04/2014 22:00

Another Homer Simpson here! In looks and personality - Doh!!! Hmm

And he has called me Marge on a number of occasions which I hate! Wait a second.....

Cleorapter · 24/04/2014 22:03

A younger Will Smith (as in Fresh Prince of bel air) is my DP Grin

I would be played by Ashley Greene, I'm always getting told I look like Alice in Twilight. Hmm

Warbride · 24/04/2014 22:13

He is the spit of Damian Lewis from Homeland. Gorges red head.

Warbride · 24/04/2014 22:15

The should have been gorgeous! Bloody phone.

whitewitchofnarnia · 24/04/2014 22:16

Him who played Rodney in only fools. It really is uncanny!

HappyGirlNow · 24/04/2014 22:26

Cary Grant.. He has that look about him particularly in black and white photos.. Really masculine and traditionally handsome.. Grin

Nagasaki · 24/04/2014 22:42

Zach Galifrinakis (Google him Grin)

DH bears a strong physical resemblance to Jack Nicholson, but is a bit younger, though not by much. Jack's persona is often sardonic and cynical, and DH is not that way at all. But Jack's a great actor so I am sure he could pull it off. Smile

waterlego6064 · 24/04/2014 22:51

A skinnier Bruce Willis, crossed with Derren Brown.

KissesBreakingWave · 24/04/2014 23:17

Laura Aikman, out of Casualty. Could maybe, just about, get close to her smile.

maras2 · 24/04/2014 23:19

Oliver Reed.

AgadorSpartacus · 24/04/2014 23:27

Definitely Christopher Eccleston. His ridiculous height, baldy head, northern accent, quiet and intense.

Yep him.

15 years ago when he had his black curls- Goran Visnjic.

Me (in my dreams Julia Roberts)

In reality - Rick Astley. Sad

Keith Chegwin Sad

Bogeyface · 24/04/2014 23:51

If we are doing exes too then exH would be played by Richard Hammond purely on personality. Its not a good thing, the playful puppy gets irritating after a while!

Bogeyface · 24/04/2014 23:56

And rethinking my earlier post, he says he should be played by Will Smith, I say Morgan Freeman but he actually looks scarily similar to Mr T just with a full head of hair :o

LittleBrassPig · 25/04/2014 00:06

Jeremy Piven (Mr Selfridge) especially when he has his specs on. Although I doubt Jeremy has DP's beer belly.

UnderThePink · 25/04/2014 09:10

Jesse Spencer in glasses (and a bit scruffier around the edges) :)

KikitheKitKat · 25/04/2014 09:25

Peter Gabriel (now, not then!)
