Sorry JellyJelly but I hoped you wouldn't mind me starting a thread for people to help you get through this difficult time.

Xdp is being a total a*se and you need all the friends you can get at the moment!

EVERYONE, PLEASE GIVE EXTRA SUPPORT ON SATURDAY (1ST JULY) as this will be a very hard day for JellyJelly - I'm worried about her being on her own! Anyone got any idea's what she should do to take her mind off it (I really wish I could be there for her but that day I have my neice and nephew for reasons some of you may already know).

Hope you don't mind me doing this JellyJelly

xxxxx

Kathlean · 28/06/2006 19:38

fransmom · 29/06/2006 10:11

fransmom · 29/06/2006 10:35

looneytune, there is a thread on mumsnet for lone parents, if he has interent access, perhaps he can get moral support from outside the family from there?

fransmom · 29/06/2006 10:36

jellyjelly · 29/06/2006 10:47

looneytune · 29/06/2006 11:00

Tell him to go to the job cnetre and get some tax credit forms without delay as they take 2 weeks to come out then about 5 to process. My claim has just finished so no money for me.

heavenis · 29/06/2006 12:58

Sorry the other thread kicked off. I was going to write something on it but delete twice what I was going to put. You are doing a good job and don't let others tell you otherwise.

jellyjelly · 29/06/2006 13:04

I applied for tesco but didnt get an interview. Thought my luck was going to change but not yet even brought a lottery ticket.

looneytune · 29/06/2006 14:28

Thanks heavenis, it's so hard when people judge on what they don't know and so hard to justify stuff. Anyway, done my final reply post as people still don't understand and then I think I'll try and get the thread removed!

Back to JellyJelly - I'm so sorry you didn't get an interview. Did they give a reason? Good luck for winning the lottery! If I win you know I'll help you out!!

jellyjelly · 29/06/2006 14:29

lIKEWISE MATE, they have no vacancies at the moment so will have to try elsehwere need to write a cv.

looneytune · 29/06/2006 14:37

Have you been on the employment section? Maybe get ideas from there?

You could try some online job agencies like Monster.com or jobsite.co.uk etc.

Will have a think.

I was really praying for you too

heavenis · 29/06/2006 15:56

JellyJelly, have you got Matalan or any where like that close to you. You could send your CV on spec.

looneytune · 30/06/2006 08:25

Yes we do, good idea - Jelly, give them a call!

How about also Costco, the big B & Q nearby or one of the many retail places around that area? There's also a big pet store locally aswell I think.

Really not sure what you are after but I know you can apply to B & Q online.

Got to rush to school but with put my thinking cap on. Did you get my email last night? I'll do your CV for you if you send me the details

OP posts:
jellyjelly · 30/06/2006 11:54

looneytune · 30/06/2006 11:55
