Does your husband have female facebook friends?

My husband has his tometown female friends and other female friends known through his mates e.g mate's wife or girl friend on his facebook. I have met all of them. The number of his facebook friends are over 100 and it appears married to xxxx on his relationship status. I have seen a male friend of mine who is married also has female friends on facebook. Is this normal? Do you think it's nothing to worry about?

And there are many photos taken with me that everyone can see.

No not at all! Nothing to worry about, your husband is allowed to have friends!

Is this the only issue, or are there other fidelity issues?,you sound very anxious

spottygoat · 01/09/2013 00:46

Why wouldn't he have female friends on FB?
Do you not trust your husband?

AnyFucker · 01/09/2013 00:46

yes, he does

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 00:47

Yes this is the only issue and he has never cheated on me during 6 years of marriage. I agree I sound anxious. I dont know why.

Very normal. It would be unusual, I think, for him to have all male friends.

StephenFrySaidSo · 01/09/2013 00:49

Have you only discovered this? Why has it become an issue?

MrsMongoose · 01/09/2013 00:50

Do you not have any make friends OP? I find this much nervousness very worrying!

MrsMongoose · 01/09/2013 00:50

Any male* friends, sorry.

LadyFlumpalot · 01/09/2013 00:51

Ummmm yes... just as I have many male friends on my facebook. It is really nothing to worry about.

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 00:52

Yes I have male friends on facebook.

TobyLerone · 01/09/2013 00:54

Of course he does. It would be strange if he didn't. I have met very few of them and I'm not sure why I ever would meet the others.

GrandstandingBlueTit · 01/09/2013 00:54

So if you male friends, what's the issue?

What's suddenly spurred this anxiety, after 6 years of marriage?

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:02

I have hardly seen his facebook until recently except I loaded his pictures. And I recently logged on his account and some pictures he was tagged by his mates' girl friend and wife and other female friend appeared.

So did you not know he had female friends on fb before you logged on his account?

80sMum · 01/09/2013 01:05

Yes, he does. I think about 99% of his fb friends are female. I have never met any of them. I don't have access to his fb account ad we are not each other's fb friend, but seen it a few times when he's left it open on his laptop.

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:06

I knew but it didnt bother me much. I feel it less bothers me now after reading your comments.

mum11970 · 01/09/2013 01:10

Yes my dh has loads of female fb friends, loads of them I don't know personally.

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:13

I do facebook and log on my account only sometimes so I am not that good how to use all the functions. I am his facebook friend and tagged him which I put his name on the pic he is shown in. Then it appears his timeline on the top of other tagged pics.

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:30

I dont need to worry about my husband tagged on his female facebook friends' group photos? Is this common?

LoopyLoopyLoopy · 01/09/2013 01:32

What?

You have male friends on FB and that's fine.
He has females ones, that's fine too. Of course it is. Confused What are you on about?

ItsNotATest · 01/09/2013 01:36

Far more weird not to have female friends.

You have a strange attitude to this. Do you really want to live in some kind of gender apartheid?

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:42

Can I ask you a quick question if you know facebook well? I found this below on facebook site. What could 'more' be on Friends or more?

When you tag someone, they'll be notified. Also, if you or a friend tags someone in your post and the post is set to Friends or more, the post could be visible to the audience you selected plus friends of the tagged person.

wherewouldyoulive · 01/09/2013 01:52

Oh I just found it. It means friend's friend. Sorry to confuse you all.
