I haven't recently had children and my undercarriage always recovered ok after birth, but I felt my fanny had got a bit lazy and slack with age and I couldn't feel as much as I used to. I bought a Kegel 8 electronic toner (about £120 I think) and I noticed a difference within two weeks. I felt much tighter and, best of all, started having really strong orgasms during PIV sex (which feel different to clitoral orgasms). I mean stronger than I've ever had in my life and of course I was delighted. Wink I use it now every two weeks or so for a few days (25 mins a day, while sitting watching tv) just to keep it that way. It really is one of the best things I've ever bought and well worth the money.

You can get a springy device called a pelvictoner for 30 quid for resisitance training! Or on prescription, if you have a doctor that will prescribe it.

TVT= trans vaginal tape(mesh)

SirRaymondClench · 19/08/2013 23:22

Is there a cheaper (but also effective) version of that Kegel 8 that anyone has used and can recommend? Sounds great but a lot of money right now.

BigArea · 19/08/2013 23:33

Marking my place - will be back tomorrow!

minkembernard · 19/08/2013 23:43

I found a website that had similar things for about sixty quid..was on laptop though. Google pelvic toner it should come up.
There were a few interesting looking solutions.

The weight / cone things, has anyone tried them, how do you get them back out??

After thirty day shred star jumps today, i need something. been doing exercises and the elevator for months. better but not perfect.

RiffyWammal · 20/08/2013 09:59

The Kegel 8 works along the same principles as a Slendertone, I suppose - electrical impulses make the muscles work. It's pretty scary the first time you use it, knowing you're going to electrocute your fanny, but it doesn't hurt really. There is a wire from it to the control box thingy - you're supposed to be able to hook it on your clothes and walk around but I damaged the connector on mine and if I move the connector comes out, so I have to sit still. There are several programs to choose from; prolapse, general work out, bladder leakage, even an anal one for which you pop the probe up yer bum. Shock I haven't used that one and hope never to need to.

They are expensive though, but as I said, I don't regret buying mine at all. I've heard that some physios/gynaes lend them out to patients?

thanks riffy. I think I might get one

Clenching while writing ..imagine my face looks like I'm trying squeeze a truck. This thread so inspired me, I ordered some vaginal stones from etsy. If I ever get to have piv sex again, I shall be tight as a banjo string.

RafaellaNhaKyria · 20/08/2013 22:12

Wow, there actually are dozens of apps for this! Search "kegel" in the App Store and you'll get them all.

My goodness. Apps know no boundaries.

CastroIsDead · 20/08/2013 22:32

Ben wa balls can help. you naturally clench to keep them in. come in all sizes and different weights. ive got a silicone pair that did help but i think they are too big, i want to be squeezing tighter. just oordered some lovely small heavy glass ones

CastroIsDead · 20/08/2013 22:33

silicone ones were £30 i think glass ones were £7

Pelvic floor exercises help but I found my weighted cones by aquaflex much more effective

NumptyNu · 20/08/2013 22:41

How do the cones work ?

MaureenDaly · 20/08/2013 22:45

I'm a great fan of the Aquaflex cones too.
Numpty you wear the weighted cones for 20 minutes a day. The time you choose has to be a time when you're moving around though, it doesn't work if you use the cones and then sit down for 20 mins.
So I use them in the morning when I'm getting ready for work, you just need to find a time that suits, that's the hardest thing about using them.

MaureenDaly · 20/08/2013 22:46

Here's the website for the cones. Only linking to it because it explains how to use/why they work. You can get them cheaper than the price on this site, eg try Amazon or Boots.

2rebecca · 20/08/2013 23:22

There is a big cone and a thinner cone and several weights. You start with the big cone and no weights, increase the weights in the large cone, when you can hold all the weights then move on to the smaller cone. I used it alot when I first got it and got to all weights in smallest cone. If I have a cough then I have to start agin with lighter weights when the cough has gone to tighten things up again. I try and use them once a week to tone things up but often forget.

Secretswitch · 21/08/2013 15:35

I am thinking of opening my own store..The Vagina Gym. Perhaps add some vazumba..maybe varobics...

girlguide123 · 11/11/2015 21:50

how are people getting on with their cones/exercises now that (considerable) time has passed? I've just bought some cones and are hoping for Great Things...
