I'm in. Just remember there is always space under my patio...
HTH

VoiceofUnreason · 05/03/2013 21:58

Re: condoms. Surely if you are embarrassed you could use the self-service checkouts and problem solved?

Bant · 05/03/2013 21:59

WARNING! UNEXPECTED CONTRACEPTIVES IN BAGGING AREA

SweetSeraphim · 05/03/2013 22:03

Bant Grin

Hope everyone's ok. Lubes, I am so relieved to hear you sounding back to normal. And BC??? Shock WTF?

grinchie · 05/03/2013 22:06

Thanks everyone Thanks or Wine or both.
oh Juliette and kirsty will pm you if that's ok?

juliette it will need a big spade.

Oh Bant re the condoms in the shopping basket, you've just got to style it out.
If I see anyone checking my basket out (not euphemism) I give them my nod and knowing wink, works a dream in every situation. HTH Grin

MirandaWest · 05/03/2013 22:11

Condoms would be the sort of things that would trigger the "please remove your last item from the bag and wait for an assistant" type of message as they don't weigh too much.

Bant · 05/03/2013 22:20

Snape - I can't remember, were you a fan of Tim Minchin?

JulietteMontague · 05/03/2013 22:23

Grinchie yes of course, that's fine.

I think if you're going to buy condoms at a supermarket you really have to go for several multipacks. However, I will now never, ever put them through the self checkout Grin

Bant · 05/03/2013 22:23

Cos if so (and sorry if you've seen it) - I saw

Snapespeare · 05/03/2013 22:27

Yes bant and yes. Wink I love those funky guitar keyboard things.

ike1 · 05/03/2013 22:32

i saw minchin in st david's hall...he was great but the acoustics were crap...

Bant · 05/03/2013 22:37

I've passed most of my evening watching him on YouTube. I've yet to see him live. I think I might just find out where he's touring and fly there next year when I can afford it

Bant · 05/03/2013 22:41

Hugo Chavez is Dead. Castro - you're going to have to change your name

lubeybooby · 05/03/2013 22:48

SweetSeraphim thanks hon and yeah I know Shock

Haven't spoken to him since... still waiting on confirmation actually of popping in to visit him on my way back.

Oh yawn...I have decided to give up on Mr Woodman...perfectly polite and maybe would appear enthusiastic in RL....BUT BLAND in message ...for someone who likes to write he's not excelling.... doesnt matter how good looking he is if the personality is not there its pointless.

mercury7 · 05/03/2013 23:09

mr Woodman doesnt realise that it's always a bad move saying anything which suggest that you think you can write Hmm

mercury7 · 05/03/2013 23:27

well, I googled his phone number, and it all comes tumbling out of the internet, his full name, his businesses, his real age, face book profile, his (ex?) girlfriend, their baby
so easy

StrictlySalsaDancingDiva · 05/03/2013 23:29

Bant delurking to say an evening of Tim Minchin is always a good way to spend a night! I definitely recommend seeing him live, I went to the Eden Project last year and he was fab Smile

ike1 · 05/03/2013 23:30

Yeah Merc....hahahah...thought he could get by on looks alone....

ChooChooLaverne · 05/03/2013 23:30

Just home from date 2 with lovely man and am a bit meh.

He's still lovely and we had a fun evening but I'm just not sure if he's as into me as I am him. Or if he's just a bit shy. Not even a peck on the lips I tell you.

He told me he wants to meet up with me again and has suggested the next time he's free and sounds keen, but no action! Is he just being a gentleman?!

ike1 · 05/03/2013 23:31

Merc....crikey ,....is this the guy you were chatting to? Is it surprise info?

ike1 · 05/03/2013 23:32

Being a gent Choo choo...

ChooChooLaverne · 05/03/2013 23:34

How do I get him to stop?!

mercury7 · 05/03/2013 23:36

not really a surprise, he's not told me alot about himself, it's just that it's so easy to find out a whole load of stuff about someone, he may well not be with the g/f, I only just started chatting to him, the face book photo's are all from a few years ago.
But now I have an edge on him, I know far more than he thinks.

This is why I stay off FB, dont want all my stuff out there, google my name and phone number aint nuthin comes up, I hate the idea of being on the radar like that, such an invasion of basic privacy!

BillMasen · 05/03/2013 23:37

I can trust you lot for an honest opinion, yes?

I keep being told my hair is a bit too scruffy for an almost 40 year old and I'm heading towards "mid life crisis" territory. I've popped a pic up on my profile. Opinions please and ill delete soon!
