ah, just call him, or text now, why bother waiting? If you like him, and want to talk with him, just talk with him :)

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 19:44

I cant just call him!!! We've never spoken on the phone, it would just be weird!

I'll text him in a bit....

lubeybooby · 06/02/2013 19:52

Text him now while dinner is likely done and before knackeredness sets in!

I saw a valentine e card thing the other day that said 'I even like you enough to speak to you on the phone'

Made me giggle as i do tend to reserve it myself at times :o

Texting is something of a curse really in some ways as well as a blessing in others

Blessing = discreet when oragnising things with kids/colleagues about (or flirting or sexting)

Curse = killed off phone conversations which are often actually better once you've tried it

If you get on well then a good chat on the phone can give just as much of a high as a good date.

it can. i love a good phone natter ( being a person that can talk for england)

Goaty doesnt like talking on the phone, despite this i have had about 5 calls. not bad... ( and thats ' nothing heavy')

just text him already :)

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 20:05

It's too early yet, even if I text him now I won't get a reply til 9ish. I'll do it soon :)

I can't imagine just calling him though! I've spent the night with him twice, I think he's absolutely lovely, but chat to him on the phone - Shock

KinNora · 06/02/2013 20:06

Obviously not happy with the whole V-Day impending doomageddon but Lubey's just reminded me of the Valentine's card I saw that made me Grin which bore the legend ' You make me wetter than an otter's pocket'.

JulietteMontague · 06/02/2013 20:09

Snape nameless does have lovely eyes Smile.

watchoutforthatsnail · 06/02/2013 20:10

weird, text him :)

Its the comftable factor i think. hence not being offended at all at the naked boots pic, but instead crying with laughter. But then again, within 30 mins of meeting goaty, i asked to stick my fingers up his nose!!!
( old septum peircing, wanted to feel the hole). Possibly not first date behaviour, but just instantally felt totally comftable.
which, thinking baou it, might explain the tv/ snuggling in bed.....

lubeybooby · 06/02/2013 20:13

and such a smile! he has lots of teeth. lovely, lovely teeth. :)

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 20:16

But I am very comfortable in Cuthbert's company though, more so than I have been with anyone for years. I don't like people touching me when I sleep, but I let him cuddle me and hold my hand all night.

It's just the phone thing. I don't much like talking on the phone anyway (outside of a work context), and I know he actively dislikes it, hence why I just wouldn't/couldn't. Even if he hadn't told me he didn't like speaking on the phone I still wouldn't call tbh.

watchoutforthatsnail · 06/02/2013 20:17

oh. email? text? Something thats a conversation opener, so he replies?

teeth are good snape... teeth are good.

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 20:18

I have text him.

Hopefully I will get a reply in an hour or so...

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 20:19

We don't email...it's only (highly sporadic) texts :)

watchoutforthatsnail · 06/02/2013 20:25

i hope he replies soon :)

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 20:30

I'd be surprised if it was before 9.30, but we'll see.

I don't mind if it's longer than that so long as he DOES actually reply!

watchoutforthatsnail · 06/02/2013 20:39

he will, you have set another date....

MyFlyingReindeerMiracles · 06/02/2013 20:49

Snapespeare · 06/02/2013 21:00

Hope all ok with you MLM :)

VelvetSpoon · 06/02/2013 21:58

So....no reply.

That's not too good really.

What did I say about pride coming before a fall? :(

JulietteMontague · 06/02/2013 22:09

Velvet it's either not good or he is just still busy. He isn't a big texter so hold on for a bit...

KinNora · 06/02/2013 22:10

Velvet, you didn't think he'd reply until at least 9.30 anyway, try not to fret too much ( I know, easier said than done ).

JulietteMontague · 06/02/2013 22:15

ooh I don't mean 'not good' disasternot good, just a bit slack/rude!
