He's about to propose to me - How do I act surprised??

Ok a few months ago I made a cosmic order for my boyfriend to propose to me before the end of the year. It hasn't happened yet and I'm not seeing him tonight so obviously it will happen either tomorrow night or NYE as he's staying with me both these nights.

I don't want him to know his proposal was cosmically ordered so I'll have to act all surprised when he does it, even though I know what's about to happen!

Any tips on acting surprised when you're really not? I'm so excited Grin

If you are really dim enough to believe this bullshit then you pretty much deserve the sort of boyfriend who will wait till the last minute and then go 'I was about to propose but you've spoiled it all' and spend the next three years hinting that he's going to in order to train you to indulge him in every way.

Has he done it yet?

It won't be necessary to act surprised.

If he proposes, all he will hope for is that you say "yes".

In fact, it's probably best if you aren't surprised. If he thinks you are good enough together to get married, then he will probably hope and assume you have been thinking the same.

You should be very careful what you wish for: I know someone who ordered a helicopter, a tattoo and a robotic hand. He did get all three, but got the hand only as the tattoo (of a helicopter) became infected, and he had to have his hand amputated.

It's a powerful science.

Oh good lord, is this the one with the fellow who's moving himself in uninvited?

For fuck's sake, don't order a proposal, order him to get his shit out of your house!

Oh dear. If a self-entitled cocklodger he's the best you can do, it seems you haven't yet mastered the art of cosmic ordering.

Back to the bell, book, and candle for you, and better luck next time.

I've cosmically ordered a new hat.

She ordered the proposal so that him moving in by stealth is ok in her head.

Her BF is the least of her worries imo.
