Pixie, I understand how you feel but going on a few dates can def be A Good Thing - I muddled my way thru a few early on (even being accused of an affair by XH - six months after he'd moved out following shenanigans ) and it was def good for the self-esteem.

Update, spent all most of the weekend with Hendrix, in hindsight this was too much and I should have listened to myself. However its still good, he's still lovely but since he has more free time than I do, I'll have to slow things down a bit anyway in the next few weeks. I want to stay in the early days excitement bit and not get to the point I got to yesterday morning when I started thinking what I'd do if I had a day to myself (WTF?). pixie - well I'm no longer any side of 30 (just turned 41) and a single mum - I don't bother even meeting ones who seem iffy about my commitment to my kids. On the plus side, the men I meet all seem properly house trained so that makes for a nice change!

Mac - I'm near Glasgow but all the men I like seem to live in Edinburgh or in the middle of bloody nowhere. Not sure about the gorgeous bit, am feeling lukewarm about his photo but men never look like their photos, maybe he will be a pleasant surprise.
