snapespeare · 22/10/2012 21:49

Me: there's a third bit. The 'made' bit, but it's personal & so needs to be delivered in person. Let's do tea which is surely code for hours of shagging so happy you like it petname Happy birthday Bx!

Game on.

Hi everyone

This thread's moving at the speed of light as usual - I second an earlier comment that the support given here is fab.. you all sound so lovely..

Pixie, I understand how you feel but going on a few dates can def be A Good Thing - I muddled my way thru a few early on (even being accused of an affair by XH - six months after he'd moved out following shenanigans Hmm) and it was def good for the self-esteem.

Update, spent all most of the weekend with Hendrix, in hindsight this was too much and I should have listened to myself. However its still good, he's still lovely but since he has more free time than I do, I'll have to slow things down a bit anyway in the next few weeks. I want to stay in the early days excitement bit and not get to the point I got to yesterday morning when I started thinking what I'd do if I had a day to myself (WTF?). Will prob not see him til Saturday now, which is good (back-pedalling slightly).

Snape - I have everything crossed for you generally - esp with PM, you need good stuff coming your way in truckloads.

Yoga - the date will be wonderful and he'll be gorgeous and we'll all be green with envy - all due to the fact that he's MILES AWAY !!!

Pixiebelle123 · 22/10/2012 21:51

Thanks ladies, will stick at it!

Yoga - Good luck with date on Thurs! You've described just how I feel, not ready for anything serious but just want to see what's out there and whether anyone will actually be interested in me now I'm a single mum and the wrong side of 30...

Sponge - go for it with Match. Nothing to lose (although saying that seeing some of the men who have winked at me is killing my soul slightly!)

OhWesternWind · 22/10/2012 21:51

Whooooo Snape so it's tea for two tomorrow? Great stuff so far.

hatesponge · 22/10/2012 21:52

Snape Grin Grin hurray!!

You know we will ALL be expecting regular updates during tea shagging tomorrow now Grin

Bugger, I have to go and join Match now dont I?! Will send lots of messages. Nothing ventured etc... :)

lubeybooby · 22/10/2012 21:54

Snape :o :o :o :o

snapespeare · 22/10/2012 21:56

But surely a 'laydeeee' does not update MN while her beau is wiping his cock on the curtainsin the lavatory?

It'll all come to Nowt. He doesn't fancy me. Hmm

watchoutforthatsnail · 22/10/2012 21:57

snape!!!!!!!!!! hurrah.
oh, thats just fantastic.
:)
i really hope tomorrow goes as well.

sponge - yes, yes you do ;)

snapespeare · 22/10/2012 21:57

Ha, thread at 910 (911!). It will surely die before update....and then I won't be able to find you all...and...you'll NEVER KNOW!!!

MacAndCheese · 22/10/2012 21:57

Snape

Hurraaah!

Grin your face right now?

MacAndCheese · 22/10/2012 22:00

We need a title so you can't escape. Grin

hatesponge · 22/10/2012 22:01

Ok, I will go and get my arse in gear and do it.

I think by a process of elimination (cos you can see the location and age of person who has messaged) I have worked out one of the senders. And he actually has potential :) awaits disappointment of finding out its not him but a hobbit living in same postcode

Snape you HAVE to tell us. I feel emotionally invested in the outcome now Grin obviously not as much as you, but... We will have to leave a trail of our whereabouts should thread end before the big reveal Grin

snapespeare · 22/10/2012 22:01

He just posted a fb pic wearing the Stetson. I need to excuse myself.

Yogagirl17 · 22/10/2012 22:02

snape - keeping everything crossed for you!

sponge - go for it, no harm & you can cancel after 3 days if no luck.

pixie - well I'm no longer any side of 30 (just turned 41) and a single mum - I don't bother even meeting ones who seem iffy about my commitment to my kids. On the plus side, the men I meet all seem properly house trained so that makes for a nice change!

Mac - I'm near Glasgow but all the men I like seem to live in Edinburgh or in the middle of bloody nowhere. Not sure about the gorgeous bit, am feeling lukewarm about his photo but men never look like their photos, maybe he will be a pleasant surprise. Would be nice to meet someone I'd like to see again, otherwise i'll be back to pining over Mr60 which i have realised by now is a fruitless endeavour This guy is about 25 miles away so we're meeting halfway.

OhWesternWind · 22/10/2012 22:03

Watch I'm liking the pirate again. So, are you going to brave his house? Probably a good move if you do, otherwise you'll just keep wondering how bad it is. Good luck for tomorrow too.

Good luck Yoga as well for your soup-er date on Thursday (groan).

pixie loads of people will be interested. You will have to be very selective and fine-tune your twat radar...

Mac sounds a bit of a pain, fluffy pjs we're definitely the right option for tonight.

Rask It's so hard to get the balance right isn't it, either too much or not enough. Glad you still like him though. Why Hendrix btw - guitarist?

As for me, I asked him out, he accepted so we are off out on date seven (I think) on Wednesday. I think I will have a bit of a talk with him. Need to spend a bit of time thinking about what I actually want to happen first though - will spend some time on that tomorrow as I have some long and tedious meetings.

MacAndCheese · 22/10/2012 22:06

Sponge that's brilliant!

OhWesternWind · 22/10/2012 22:07

Whoever does the new thread title, can it have something about "Let the sausage see the roll" in it? That is so hilariously awful I still chuckle inside when I think of it.

MacAndCheese · 22/10/2012 22:11

Western soup-er Grin

Yoga Oh I see. That makes sense then.

So. Who's going to come up with a new thread name?

MacAndCheese · 22/10/2012 22:17

How about..

Stetsons and soup-er presents, let the sausage see the roll... The Online Dating Thread reaches 25!

needs work

MirandaWest · 22/10/2012 22:19

snapespeare · 22/10/2012 22:32
