10 things I love about my husband...

Just seeing if I can get to 10 really... We're struggling at the mo and rather than bitch and moan about all the shitty things he does I thought I'd try and see the positives. So here goes...

  1. He's good at imaginative play with the children
  2. He's generous
  3. He's good in bed
  4. He smells nice
  5. He gets very passionate about stuff

So those took me about 10 minutes and I really can't think of 5 more. That's not good, is it?

Blimey! even those with short lists; you are very very lucky ladies; hold on tight! :)

I was going to say that the best thing about my first h (was still married in the eyes of the Cathnolic church) is that he's no longer breathing! yes! the very best thing!

And before you all start; he was brutal, violent and totally abusive. I am a little envious of all of your lists.

Wow!! Catty post Unlikely!

All I can say is my relationship has lasted over 2 decades for the reasons I stated.

I haven't got a picture of anything up - it's not compulsory you know!

Kind
Funny
He adores my dd
Supportive
Encouraging
Gorgeous (and not just my own biased view!)
Clever
Extroverted
Tells me he loves me at least 5 times a day everyday
Makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world
He's a real family man.
He makes me coffee even though he can't stand the smell.
He admits to be being wrong if he is.
Amazing in bed.
His cuddles make me feel like I'm in the safest place in the world.

...and he's not even my DH, one day hopefully.

unlikely I don't post any photos on Mumsnet because I'd rather not out myself to RL folk.

Nymia my DH is always as described in my list :)

I don't think people should put up with relationships that don't make them happy. I've been there, been in two abusive relationships but as soon as the abuse started I dumped the assholes. Life is too short to be in a rubbish relationship. I think these lists prove that there are great guys out there. But I will add, what is great to some may not be to others. So you have to look for someone you are compatible with as well.

Like others have said, I have pictures of precisely nothing on my profile because I would rather keep a shred on anonymity, and I suspect my DH would rather not be outed on a public forum that he does not use.

LaQueen there's only one pic I can see on your profile - of a lovely pink girly bedroom. Is that your DH in the bed?

Hmm i'm struggling too

Mine is absolutely adored by DS2
And he adores him back

I get cuddles, a lot
He tells me he loves me, a lot. I am always the 'i love you, too' person.

Sadly thats about it but i have loved reading this thread its put a real big smile on my face, as i'm hoping that my DS' will grow up to be those kind of men and that their DW's will write the same about them one day :)

Has the prettiest, bluest eyes

I'm quite fond of him Blush
