Having a hard day today

Xp is supposed to be going to look at a flat and a house today. His dad has agreed to help him out with deposit etc (i think) and so hopefully if either place is ok, he could be gone by end of next week.

I am so sick with nerves though, mainly because I know if he comes back and says neither was suitable, I will wanna jump off the roof.

He has just gone off to CAB to sort out what he is entitled to etc.

Cross fingers that this is nearly the end please.

god nutcracker - thats so tough for you - so they will only help dp ( and you ) if they stand to gain ? Are they close to your kids ?

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:04

No, they hate me and the kids so they don't care if we suffer or xp it seems.

jenniferjuniper · 25/02/2006 15:06

so for you .If dp wont/cant leave do you feel strong enough to ? even though that would be grossly unfair

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:08

Don't feel strong enough to pick my nose tbh but if i have to go then I will.

It is not fair on the kids to be in this sitation for any longer than is needed.
Mind you it will take me a while to find somewhere round here.

OP posts:
jenniferjuniper · 25/02/2006 15:13

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:18

oh no ! well if dps family agree to give him the deposit will they hold that offer open for other places he finds ? sorry for you nutcracker

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:44

Don't know JJ, basically they will if it is somewhere they approve of but if not no.

I've just had enough.

OP posts:
jenniferjuniper · 25/02/2006 15:47

dont know what to say easy for me to say dont give up i know but i really hope you can stay strong enough and get dp back on the flat hunt

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:49

Oh and his dad has just said again that he saw a bloke coming in here the other week.

I hate them all so much. They can say what they like about me, all of it lies and i can't do a thing.

OP posts:
PeachyClair · 25/02/2006 15:50

So he'll have to take the house then. When can he see it? Can he give his family a run down of the house so he can get a yay or nay on deposit now, ready to grab it when it becomes available.

I would presume if you keep pushing he'll get sick of it in the end and go.

Have you spoken to Shelter?

PeachyClair · 25/02/2006 15:51

Um, if you agreed there WAS a bloke, would Xp get narked and go?

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:51

We don't yet know how much the house will be so he can't ask them. I think it will be more tbh.

OP posts:
nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:51

Nope

OP posts:
bundle · 25/02/2006 15:52

can't he stay with his family if they're so fussy about where he ends up?

nutcracker · 25/02/2006 15:53

No bundle thjey don't work like that. It's on their terms or not at all.

I think you do have to do something for your own health. does he have any friends?
