Anyone ever got to the grand old age of 30 and NEVER been married?

I'm 30 with a string of crap half arsed relationships behind me. I'm now staying single until the right one comes along - but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bothered about marriage. I'm 30 and never even got close

Anyone else got to this age without ever wearing a ring? Anyone else passed this age who ended up acquiring a ring for the first time post 30?

I've never been married but I have come close.

DS's father propsed twice and I said no twice.

The fact that he a cheating lying shitbag scum had something to do with it.

I only intend to have somebody who I think is best for me. I have no intentions of compromising even if that means I never marry

Me - wasn't married and didn't have kids when I was 30.

Now I have 2 kids but still not married.

I was 1 of a group of 5 very close friends at school. At started going out with my DH aged 30 and we got married 18 months later, have been married now for 14 years. I was the first of my group of friends to tie the know. Next one met and got married to her DH aged 35. Another met her partner and married him in her early forties. The last two are not yet married - one has just got engaged and the other has recently met her soul mate - we are all 46. Plenty of time left, I look at people I know who are 30 and think how young they are. Enjoy yourself!

I got married at 34. I can only think of one friend who got married in her 20s and one relative (and she got divorced).. Everyone else was in their mid/late 30s or 40s.
