Five top reasons why I love my DH

1. he makes me laugh on a daily basis
2. he puts up with my erratic sex drive coping with total lack of sex for weeks on end to needing it 3 times a day (without -much- complaint)
3. he's a much better cook than me
4. rarely brings up his PHD as doesn't want to embarrass me about my one level -in home economics-
5. pretends to love the dog as much as I do even though he is really a cat person

If you ask your DH the same question about you, what does he say?

1. Because he always encourages me to do the things I want to do.
2. Because he is always himself, no matter who he is with.
3. Because he is the father of our wonderful DS.
4. Because he makes an effort with my friends and gets on well with all of them.
5. Because he always does silly things to make me laugh.

1. He is supremely handy at tiling, electrical stuff, painting, decorating, cooking, furniture making, laundry, washing small children's hair, building computers. And has a PHD in physics. But has the good grace to be shite at parking so I have something to feel superior about.
2. He's good at organising our social life and booking holidays, buying presents, inviting friends around etc. I'm rubbish at these things.
3. He still wants to have sex with me. And is good at sex.
4. He's very, very funny. Dry sense of humour.
5. He has beautiful manners and can talk to anyone. His personal hygeine is exemplary.

That's more than 5 isn't it?

Just kidding!

Mine's not bad either, but can't do the tiling stuff or organise the social life. But is a fantastic father, very hard working, great at housework, always tidies the kitchen, is very good company and a good listener - and more.

Great thread, OP. I love DH because:

1. He's the most loving and caring man I have been with.
2. He's a big, mad, daft eejit .
3. He's great with the kids (because of No 2)
4. He lets me lie in bed when I've had a bad night and great in bed.
5. He's a fab cook (I make the curries in the house though as I've had the most practice).

I have to add a sixth to my list

DH regularly lets me have a lie in and then wakes me up with cunnilingus AND a cup of tea

I'm loving this thread...it's great to hear about the good ones for a change and reassuring to know that there are many great partners out there! My top 5 as follows:

1. I still feel butterflies in my stomach every time he walks into the room
2. He is the kindest, most good-natured, warm and affectionate man I've ever come across
3. He is calm, cool and collected in a crisis and talks sense into me when I start to lose the plot
4. He encourages me to do what I want, allowing me to vent and to have a bitch and a moan when I need to without judging, lecturing or preaching.
5. He tells me and shows me that he loves me all the time both with words, cuddles and spontaneous gestures
6. A bonus one...he bought me a trip to Marrakesh for Christmas which he'd spent months planning and organising and he presented me with this big folder full of quotes, clues and hilarious in-jokes which led me to discover where we were going...all the women in my family and close friends have set up a fan club for him as they believe he is truly wonderful...and I couldn't agree more!

I love him because ...

1. Hes my best friend i can tell him anything and hell be my shoulder to cry on, he can then cheer me up without even saying anything :) Hell tell me when im being silly and why. He also calms me down and gives the best advice 2)He stays up with me all night being sick, brings me anything i need and then lets me sleep in the mornings while he gets 3 DCs ready. (ive been really ill with gallstones just waiting for an operation) 3)Even though he doesnt think so, i think hes gorgeous x (sex is great too) 4)He gave me 3 lovely kids and the smile he gives them just melts your heart, he works his butt off to try give them what they deserve. 5)He puts up with my Bipolar mood swings, tells me im sexy and always tells me im great! 6)He tells me he loves me at least once a day 7)Hel take me anywhere i want to go, wait around for me and bring me back 8)He buys me lovely gifts 9)Hes really funny and we always have a great time bitching having a laugh 10)I couldnt imagain my life without him

I know thats more than 5 and i could go on and on, I love DP so much :)
