Doc told me that I need to be circumcised. Anyone been through this? Women's opinions?

I've got no choice, and I've accepted it, though I'm obviously not thrilled. Perhaps unusually, I'm less scared about the operation than I'm worried about what women are going to make of 'things' afterwards. Do women find it offputting? I'm concerned it'll make functioning worse, if you gather my meaning.

In that case, no, it is not off-putting. All Muslims, Jews, and the vast majority of Americans are all circumcised.

I don't know anyone who was circumcised as an adult but most men I know, including family members, are all circumcised and I have never heard of functional problems.

Have had partners in the past who were. Makes no difference whatsoever. The usual complaints about sex from a womans viewpoint apply or dont, regardless.

I have had both types of partners and in my experience the circumcised were better lovers, but that is probably because they were just better at it, nothing to do with their willies.

I had a friend who always said she would only be interested in people who were circumcised (don't ask me how she broached that one!)

My husband is circumcised and plans to have our son 'done' when he is born.

I prefer it but that might be a bias because I've been with my husband or 10 years and it seems right! But also thinking back on previous partners there was only one who wasn't circumcised (and I'm a white british christian rather than from a culture/religion where it is considered usual so perhaps that makes you feel less like a fish out of water).

My DH was for medical reasons before we met. I didn't even realise until he asked it if bothered me! It really makes no difference to the woman in the general case, and I suspect if its to resolve a medical problem it may well help.

My ex was circumcised, I never gave it a second thought. It made no difference to how sex felt for him or for me.

I highly doubt that the average woman would care.

Dh had it done aged around 35. Prepare for initial discomfort and definitely discourage any nearby 3 year olds from launching themselves at you in delight at your return

It makes no odds to me looks/performance wise.

I prefer the look of a circumcised penis. Though, as I'm unlikely to be looking at yours, the information's totally irrelevant
